What time does Angelo ate his breakfast?

Is Angelo early for school?

Is it good to come to school early?


Yes maam. It is.
That’s correct.

Coming to school early is a good habit. We


should not be late and we must practice it
everyday.
And that is punctuality.

Based on the clock at her back, the girl is
having breakfast at 7:30 in the morning.

Where is the short hand point to?


The short hand point at 7.
Very good.

And how about the long hand, where does it


point to?
The long hand point at 6.
That’s right!
When the short point at 7 and the long hand
point at 6, the clock tells that the time is
7:30.

Please take note:


When the long hand is at
6, it means 30 minutes
have passed.
Will you please skip count by 5’s, from 1
to 6.
(Teacher will going to guide the pupils in
counting up to 30 minutes while moving the (the pupils will skip count by 5’s)

We say 30 because we count by 5’s starting
from 1 to 6.

So the girl is eating breakfast at 7:30.

In what number does the short hand point to?


Maam the short hand point at 8.

How about the long hand?


Maam the long hand is at 6.
So therefore, the time 8:30.
What is the time in the clock?
The time is 8:30.
(Teacher will move the clock and ask the
pupils to tell te time until they familiarize
how to tell the time to the half hour)
