III. PRELIMINARIES
1. A. Greetings Good morning, Class! Good morning, Ma'am!
2. B. Prayer Before we start, let's have a short
prayer by singing and dancing.
Everybody! Please stand up.

Are you all ready to sing and

dance, class? All: Yes sir, we’re ready!

( Pag kagising sa umaga Hesus Ikaw ang nasa

isip kaya ang buong katawan koy punung puno
ng pag ibig…)

All: In the name of Jesus,

Alright! everybody say In The name of Jesus,
Amen.
Amen.

2
Once again class, Good Morning.

Before you take your seats,

please pick up the pieces of
papers on the floor, and arrange
your chairs properly.
C. Checking of
Attendance
Okay done? You may now take (All participated)
your seats
3.
Class monitor. Is there an absent All: None sir.
today?

Okay Good.
Let us now discuss our three
class rules.

Rule 1: Maintain Your Work Ethic

and Always Try Your Best.
D. Reading of House Rule 2: Listen and Follow
Rules Instructions.
Rule 3: Respect the Teacher and
4. Other Students.

Do you understand our rules All: Yes sir.

Class?
Alright. Last meeting, I
instructed you to bring your
drawing tools and materials.

Did you bring your drawing tools All: Yes sir.

E. Checking of
and materials?
Assignment
Okay good, because today I will
5. introduce to you our new topic All: Yes sir.
and later we will have an
activity.
F. Motivation I have a picture here, now look
closely at the picture, and
observe.
6.

1
Student 1: There are 3D
shapes ma'am.
What can you say about the
picture? Yes (Name the student)
Student 2: There is height,
width, and depth.
Correct. What do you observe in
3D forms? Yes __________

Very good! So, what do you

think is our lesson for this All: Isometric Drawing sir
morning class?

Correct. Very Good.

IV. LESSON PROPER
1. A. Activity Instruction:
I will group you into two groups
and each group should draw the
shape or object in an Isometric
form. For the group 1, you need
to draw the CUBE, and for the
group 2 is the PYRAMID.

There is an attached question to

the material, therefore, each
group should have one
representative to defend their
answers. I will only give you 3
minutes to do your activity. After
3 minutes you will paste your
output in front. Understood?

Group 1:
Why is isometric important in all Group 1 leader:
working drawings?

3
Group 2: Group 2 leader:
What is the difference between
an isometric drawing and an
orthographic drawing?

Alright, any questions?

Okay you may now start.

Okay class your time is up.

Please paste your output in
front.

Thank you everyone. Go back to

your seats. Now let us check
your work as we dig in to our
new topic for this morning.
2. B. Analysis An isometric drawing is a
pictorial representation of an
object in which all three
dimensions are drawn at full
scale. It is a type of 3D drawing
that uses a 3D representation.
Isometric drawing comes from
the greek ίσο μέτρο "íso metro,"
meaning equal measure.

So why is Isometric important in

all working drawings?
Yes Group 1? Group1 will answer…

Okay very good. This type of

drawing is commonly used in
engineering, architecture, and
design to represent objects and
structures that have a fixed
position and are not intended to
be seen from multiple angles.

Now is Isometric drawing similar

to orthographic drawing? Yes
Group2? Group 2 will answer…

Yes, very good. The main

difference between an isometric
drawing and an orthographic
drawing is that an isometric

drawing shows an object in 3D

from a specific angle, while an
orthographic drawing shows an
object in 2D from multiple angles
(front, top, and side views) to
provide a more detailed and
accurate representation of its
shape and dimensions.
3. C. Abstraction Here are the steps on how to
draw an Isometric object.

(The teacher will demonstrate

while discussing)

Step 1: Draw the three isometric

axes using 30x60 triangle.

Step 2: From the given

orthographic views indicate the
measurement of the width,
height and length on the
isometric axes.

Step 3: Draw the isometric box

and complete the construction
lines.

Step 4. Darken the edges/

contour of the object, and apply
shading if required.
All: None so far sir.
Understood? Any questions
regarding the isometric drawing?

It is easy, right class? All: Not so sir.

5
Alright. let’s have another
example. How about this object.

(The teacher will demonstrate on

how to draw the isometric
object)

Since we are done with our

discussion, prepare your drawing
tools and materials.

Instruction: Create this one

simple isometric drawing. Make
sure to follow the steps in
making the isometric drawing.

I will only give you 20 minutes

to finish your activity.

D. Application

I will be grading you base on the

following criteria.

Alright. Any questions and

clarifications?

Okay, you may now start.

V. CLOSURE
A. Generalization

I’m sure that you learned many

ideas and knowledge on today’s
lesson.

Let’s have a recall.

Can you define what is Isometric (Student answer)

Drawing? Sir Isometric Drawing is a
method of graphic
representation of three-
dimensional objects.
Okay, Very Good!
VI. ASSESSMENT
A. Evaluation
I. Complete and identify the
steps in isometric drawing
from Step 1-4.

1. Darken t h e e d g e s /
contour of the object, and apply
shading if required.

2. Draw the three

isometric axes using 30x60
triangle.

3. Draw the isometric box

and complete the construction
lines.

4. From the given

orthographic views indicate the
measurement of the width,
height and length on the
isometric axes.

II. Multiple Choice

5. What is an isometric drawing?

a. A 3D drawing that shows
objects as they appear in real
life.
b. A 2D drawing that shows
objects from multiple viewpoints.
c. A drawing that uses only
straight lines and 90-degree
angles.
d. A drawing that shows objects
as they appear in a mirror.

6. Which of the following is NOT

a characteristic of isometric
drawing?
a. Three-dimensional

7
b. Uses parallel lines
c. Uses a 30-degree angle
d. Uses a vanishing point

7. In isometric drawing, which

axis is typically drawn at a 30-
degree angle?
a. X-axis
b. Y-axis
c. Z-axis
d. None of the above

8. What is the purpose of using

isometric drawing in technical
drawing?
a. To show objects in a more
realistic way
b. To show objects from different
perspectives
c. To show the internal workings
of objects
d. To show objects with accurate
dimensions

9. Which of the following is an

advantage of using isometric
drawing?
a. It allows for more creative
expression.
b. It is easier to create than
other types of technical
drawings.
c. It allows for a more accurate
representation of an object's
dimensions.
d. It is only used for artistic
purposes and has no practical
applications.

10. Write my complete name.

Key answers:
1. 4
2. 1
3. 3
4. 2.
5. a
6.d
7.a
8. d
9. c
10. Write my complete name.
Now, for your assignment, create
a 3d isometric object out of the
plate you draw earlier using a
scale of 8". You can use cartoon,
folder, or illustration board. Make
sure that your object is solid. Be
creative on your output.
B. Assignment
Understood class? All: Yes Sir. All:

Alright, any question? None sir.

Good. I think that ends our All: Goodbye sir Edmond!
