- Positive relationships with reduced load and adequate engagement during class
students in Grade 9 opportunity to demonstrate - Classroom management to reduce
- Implemented low-risk feedback learning- Gr 9 disruptions and improve learning
strategies in Chem 20 (thumbs up/ - Building relationships with - Good relationships all for greater
thumbs down) students in Chem 20 student learning

Reflection at end of term:

I have implemented an Exit Slip strategy of a few quick questions for the grade 9’s to have plenty of
chances to show their learning in addition to quizzes and tests. I have also managed to build good
relationships with many Chem 20 students, to the point that many are now comfortable asking me questions
when they need help and are comfortable casually socializing with each other before class.

Reflection at end of term:

I have successfully increased the number of resources available to my students in a timely manner, and
each class I go over with them via sharescreen where to find resources and assignments. I am still
increasing the number of resources available to them, but I feel as if that will be an ongoing thing all the
way to the end of the course.
