My performance goals for the English

2nd language this year

I am glad that I have reached my last year’s target for
English, at the same time I am enthusiastic to work hard for
this year as well and hope that I can reach my goals and with
the kind support of my teacher Mr. Neo in my academic
journey.
My weakness in English from my last year will be my goals
for this year, I need to improve on summary writing and note
taking as I was struggling a little at first but did not exceed
that far and sometimes needed some assistance from my
teachers or parents. Besides summary writing I am also
facing some difficulty in Grammar, there are specific topics,
but parts of speech is one of the main I am struggling with and
I’ve been practicing it during the summer holidays. For
Reading comprehension I have been finding it hard to solve
the complicated questions for example: “Please explain what
the author was trying to say in paragraph number four” and
because of this I couldn’t go that much further with my marks
in the last year. I am certain if I fix these three problems then I
will have a better understanding of the English language,
obviously with the kind support of Mr. Neo.
Overall, I think that if I target to improve these problems with
the guidance of Mr. Neo and my parents, I will be able to
make my English result better than the last year and I improve
in English language.
