1. WT 2O2O-21 is planned to be conducted wef 27 Dec 2O2O - 2L Jan 202T for 04 wks.
Detailed instr was cir vide Ref A. Eval the existing and forecasted Covid sit, it is felt nec to
issue subj supplementary instr.

2. Modalities for Conductine WT 2020-2021.

a. Tps may remain inside cantt for the overall duration of ex.

b WT may be conducted within cantt, inside Fmn mil trg areas or vicinity of
cantt to derive max lessons.

c. Ex may be conducted in the form of STX / demo or in combination focusing on

Btl Drills and Btl Procedures instead of focusing on digging.

d. Fmn mil trg areas may rationally be distr to units / bdes basing on the tac
scenario depicted and for bringing out the intended lessons.

e. Extime (day and ni events) may rationally be selected by Fmn Comds' keeping
in mind the safety, sy and Covid protocol.

f. Since, Summer Trg could not be conducted in this trg yr 2020, as such minor
ops may also be planned to refresh the memories.

g. Ex events should be carefully monitored at all times by all level of comds.

h. ln all circumstances, contact with civ pop is to be avoided.

j. Prior permission is to be obtained from this HQ, if there is a need for

conducting ex at a long dstn.

3. Level of Ex. Level of the ex may be determined by respective Fmn HQ. However, a

proposed segmentation of the duration is as fol:

5. Misc. ,

a. Sister svcs and Para Mil Forces (BGB, BNCC, Ansar and VDP) will not take part
in this ex.

b. Free med campaign may be org by Fmns during WT eval the ex-area as per Ref D.

c. Fmns are to use their own UAV (if in possession) during the ex as per Ref D.
