A.S: ​What are some planets in our solar s stem?​ ​Can ou name them for me?

2. After the have ans ered the A.S. sho pictures of all the planets.
a. Here are pictures of planets in our solar s stem.
3. I ant ou to listen as I sa each planet's name and as I sa the name I ill be
tapping on m drum. We ill be going do n the list
4. Sound out the names of each of the planets using drums. Have them repeat after
ou.
a. Venus- Titi
b. Mars - too- oo
c. Earth- Ta
d. Jupiter- tikitim
e. Saturn- Tata
5. Follo the order of the planets like the are notes on a music staff, using our
drum and name them out loud.
6. Ask students if the kno ho to rh thmicall pla out each planet to their drum
a. If so move on to the ne t phase, if not pla it again
7. No that ou kno the names of the planets, hat about their order?
a. Ask the students hat order the planets go in starting from the sun.
b. I am going to rearrange them starting from the sun. What planet do I put
first?
8. Have about t o lines of at least 4-5 different planets going. (Groups of 4 beats)
a. No that e have the planets in order, let s use our drums to sound them
out.
9. Pla through it once and ask the students ho the did
10. Then pla through it one last time to further sho the kno it.
