OAS held their nominations and elections in one meeting, and the same
night that our election meeting was held. Their election meeting went against the OAS constitution and has
caused many conflicts. Many things have been misheard and miscommunicated between different members and
clubs, and we hope the issues will be resolved.

Due to Ian Shaw’s resignation we need to appoint another Trustee. Rob Dowswell was asked to fill this position
and he will consider the offer.

Dianne McParland thanked the Youth for all their work during the year.

Previously a complaint was made from Directors about their telephone number being published in the Newsletter.
Due to this complaint I removed all numbers from the newsletter and posters and referred to the website for
contact info. This past year a few people have commented on the missing numbers and I was granted permission
from everyone on the board to publish their numbers again.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:40PM.

The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.

It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of all its beautiful colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved horse dies, the horse goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail animals are young again.
Those who were sick, hurt or in pain are made whole again.
There is only one thing missing,
they are not with their special person who loved them so much on earth.
So each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up!
The nose twitches! The ears are up!
The eyes are staring and this one runs from the group!
You have been seen and when you and he meet,
you will take him in your arms and hug him.
He will nuzzle and rub your face again and again -
and you look once more into his eyes.
Then you will cross the Rainbow Bridge together never again to be apart.
