1. Discuss the methods in determining the quantities of materials needed per scope of
work/elements.
2. Apply techniques in computing for quantities of materials

Activity SET 2
Please find time in doing the following activities: From the Textbook “SIMPLIFIED
CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATE, 2000 ED” Max Fajardo, Jr.

1. Do Problem Exercise no. 1, FIGURE 2-14 only ON PAGE 65.

2. Do Problem Exercise no. 3 ON PAGE 140. Take note of the suggested estimating
procedures.

Submission shall be from 10 am today, November 24, 2020 up to Saturday, November 28,
2020. Consultations/queries shall be entertained through the GC/texts from now till 10 am
today and shall resume tonight at 7-8 pm. You may also be entertained from 7-10 am,
everyday starting tomorrow till Friday.

Stay safe and RELAX!!! ….. Next week, we shall have our midterm covering
the Lesson 2- Take home....to be submitted after 2 days!!!!!....

You should start your house estimate for our Laboratory Activities -
excavation, concrete and masonry.
