Topic: Stress during exams is a problem for many students.

What are the


some of the causes of student stress and how can students deal with them?

Exams are always stressful and cause anxiety in the student. Every student face this situation
before or during an exam. However it is required to access the causes of stresses during exam
and to find a solution of those stresses. This essay will examine the causes of stresses in student
before or during the exams and also suggests how to deal with the exam stresses.

Firstly, there are many situation when student feels that exam is tough and out of course. For
example, when a student get a paper that is unexpected for him or the paper contain the questions
that the student is not familiar, will cause stress and anxiety in the student. This situation can
lead to lower the confidence of student and student will lose the credits.

Secondly, when the student is not prepared well and he is feared to face the situation of losing
the credits. This situation boost when student lacks confident. For example, if a student do not
prepare a portion of an exam well, he will fear to have difficult exam and this fear will affect the
performance of student in the remaining portions that he prepared. It is necessary for student to
be confident and focusing on that portion of exam that he/she prepared well.

In addition, when the student is not well and he is suffering from any disease then exam will
become a cause of stress for him/her. For example, a student cannot perform well in exam when
he’s suffering from flu because most of time he’s busy in wiping his nose and cause loss of time.
Hence it is mandatory for student to have good in health before taking exam to avoid exam
anxiety.

In conclusion, exams are sometime nightmare for the students and student take a lot of stress
before and during the exam which cause them to lose the credits. This fear harm their
performance in their academics. It is mandatory for student to take part in some healthy activities
before exam to lessen the stress of exam. Although preparation is necessary for the exam but still
courage to reduce the stress through some activities is also important.
