1. What art form/artwork has changed something in your life? Why account for
experience.

The artwork or art form that had changed something in my life or my perspective
in life is anything painted or made of thread art, a string art. I already told the story of it
in my encounter of arts. The woman formed in a thread. I account this in my experience
because this is the way why I appreciated the arts especially the paintings because I
know there is something behind that I mean the story. Every time I saw a painting I
asked the painter what is the story behind that, what did you paint it? In this way my
curiosity satisfied and I’m very amazed of they have answered. And I apply it in my life
coz if something happened or someone did a mistakes I wouldn’t judge her/him instead
I would ask her/him the reasons why he did that thing because as what I’ve experience
in art every piece has a story behind.

2. Does art always have function? Why? Support your response. Provide your own
example.

Yes, arts always have function but in a different way like what Aristotle said he
believes that everything has a purpose but to attain that purpose you have to perform its
function. For example the functional art is usually called “craft” considered a
decorative .If a dress is ruined and no longer wearable, is it still fashion? Of course
because no matter what art is still art. Maybe for you it has no function but for me it has
because I can DIY that ruin dress into a better one.

3. If an artwork ceased to have a function, will it remain an art? Why?

Strictly speaking, art always has a function, even if it is simply an outlet of creative
expression for the artist. Defined this way, art doesn't have to be viewed, let alone
appreciated, to be called “art.” Art itself, as a medium for communication, will always
have a function.
