    For me the difference between Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo is the Noli

    Me Tangere describes revival in thought long dead. Meanwhile the El


    filibusrerismo describes the inconvenience oneself of society today. These two
    novels with broad topic are touted as the novels that deal with revolution. Both of these
    books have similarities in terms of the aim and purpose of the book. Both aim to
    enlighten the Filipinos about what is happening in the country. They encourage and
    aims to persuade the people to fight for their country and have the total freedom.

    El Filibusterismo. l Filibusterismo was written in dedication to the three


    martyred priests Mariano Gomez, Jose Burgos, and Jacinto Zamora, whose
    deaths left an indelible mark in his mind. Like Noli Me Tangere, Fili aims at
    enlightening the society, at bringing the Filipinos closer to the truth.
