Weather
In the place where I live it`s very changeable and variable.
All four season are very different in our region. Spring is a very nice season. There
are many green trees in the streets in the parks and in the yards, sometimes it rains
but as usual the sun shines brightly. Summer is the warmest season. The days are
long and the nights are shots.
The average temperature twenty-five- thirty degrees above zero.
Autumn is rather warm, but in the end it gets colder. The days become shorter ad
nights become longer.
Winter is rather mild with no severe frosts. The average winter temperature is
about ten-twenty degrees below zero. Usually it snows. You can see snow
everywhere.

2. 1.b) I really enjoyed doing the roleplay in the shop. Jan and I invented funny
situations and laughed a lot.
2.f) I felt embarrassed when Dave asked me to read my poem to the class. I
didn’t think it was very good.
3.d) Dave told us that it`s better to use I’ll than I will for speaking.
4.c) I think I learn best when I do roleplays or other speaking activities
because they help me to us English in real life.
5.a) I learned that Alaska used to belong to Russia. That’s really strange.
6.e) I am not completely sure about the difference between going to or the
present continuous to talk about plans.
7.g) I think my speaking is improving a bit. I`m not so worried about making
mistakes. Maybe that’s because I know my classmates now.

My plans for the weekend

My weekends can be different. A lot depends on your mood, homework, and
weather. I am not an early riser. I enjoy staying in bed, when I dint have to hurry
anywhere. Usually I read books and listen to my favorite singers. Also, I love
weekends with friends. We like to spend a lot of time outdoors. it's winter, and it
really affects our walks. I like winter. Frosty and sunny weather is something I
like about winter most of all. Еhe weather in winter is very unstable. But, when the
winter is not very severe, we like to go sledding, snowboarding, and skating. You
can't do that in the summer. Winter weather is like a fairy tale. It is important for
me to share with my family especially on weekends, when all rest from our daily
activities, work, studies and responsibilities and so we build a strong relation with
our family having fun and doing all kind of activities that involve all of us.
As a rule, my day off is always full of events. I never get bored and even if there’s
no place where I might go to, I make an effort to do my best and spend this day
productively. I read books or learn something, do sports and make plans for the
next weekends.
I have much to do on my weekend. Unfortunately, I don’t always manage to cope
with everything I have planned. However, I have plenty time for rest
