Beauty and the beast is one of my favorite movies Disney animated films.

Bill Condon based on the 1991 Disney animated film and it is an entertaining film. The movie is
similar with The Little Mermaid which is it a musical film.

The main character is Belle who is a young woman from a small French village. She has long
brown hair and hazel eyes. She also wears outfits depanding on the occasion and look beautiful. For
the personality, she is a vibrant, intelligent, young beauty who wants more out of life than an
ordinary existence. Belle also not care about appearance but she is seen as the most beautiful
woman in the village. She can be stubborn always tried to protect people she truly loves. For the
example she save her father from the beast and make her as a ransom.

The supporting character is Gaton who is the story’s antagonist. He is egotistical, ultra masculine
villian determined to marry Belle. Gaston is the absolute opposite of the beast. He also has a
physically hansome and completely self-centred, but when ego is bruised he becomes a very
dangerous foe for the Beast, Belle, and Mourice.

While she was taking care of her father the time flew by and she had a dream about Beast dying.
Before she left his palace he gave her a ring and told her she only needed to put it on her finger
when she wanted to come back and that she would awake in the palace. When she came back to the
palace she found the beast ill in his bed. She didn’t want him to die and she told him she’ll marry
him. This shown that Belle is very caring and loving about the beast.

Maurice who is Belle’s father goes out in the woods in search of her and struggles on his journey.
On his way home, the father got lost and wandered into a castle. He was getting ready to leave when
he saw beautiful roses and he picked one. In that moment the beast caught him and the father,
begging for his life, said the rose was for his daughter. The beast let him go under the condition of
him sending one of his daughters to the castle but the daughter had to want to come. If he does’nt
come to the castle, she will not know about the beast.

Overall, Beauty and the Beast is not at all a bad movie, but I was hoping for something a little
bit more. I think there was a chance to do something exciting given how much moviemaking
has progressed, but that is not what happened. This is a film that is very similar to the
animated version with a similar charm, but with more bloat. I still recommend seeing it,
especially if you are a fan of the animated version. But maybe try to keep your expectations a
little lower than mine were.
