and surrounded by immensely beautiful bodies of water. Being a country blessed with natural and
man-made resources, Filipinos has the moral and legal entitlement to protect, conserve, enrich, and
promote them. A big impact to the recognition of the Philippines and its tourism was due to
mainspring of “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”, a movement that showcase the country’s richness
in natural and man-made resources and causes positive outcomes that boost the country’s tourism.
The following examples are some of the most popular places in Philippines that captivates the likes
of tourists: the island of Boracay of Aklan, Underground River of Puerto Princesa Palawan, Chocolate
Hills of Bohol, Mayon Volcano of Albay, and Banaue Rice Terraces of Ifugao. Tourists also being
attracted to the City of Manila, Baguio, Vigan, Cebu, and Davao.

Some may depend only to the most recommended places in the Philippines, either being the highest
rated tourist attractions on the internet or shown on TV commercials or advertisements, etc., but,
what most doesn’t know is that there still some hidden beauties in the Philippines, some are in the
most remote places, waiting to be explored and cherish. One of the best examples is a place hidden
in the shadows of towering and competing places in the name of tourism, a place that even on this
day has still contains hidden wonders not yet explored. Cagayan Valley is located in the northern
part of the Philippines, known by many as just a place composed of rice fields and farming as just the
main source of livelihood of Cagayanos. But, what most doesn’t normally know is that there are
hidden wonders that can be located in Cagayan Valley. Like, the Anguib beach called “Boracay of the
North”, in Santa Ana, the 7-chamber limestone cave with a chapel called Callao cave in Peñablanca,
the Light house in Palaui Island called “Cape Engaño”, the active Cagua Volcano in Gonzaga, and the
Blue Water Falls and Cave in Baggao. This are some of the examples of natural and man-made
wealth that simply shows that Cagayan is more than just a ‘valley’, and that there are still more
unheard beauty of the place waiting to be explored and experienced.

Tourism can be reflected to the enthusiasm of the people to explore places to go on vacations, to
travel, to go on places to replenish their exhaustion, to find pleasure and comfort, and to find
security and safety for themselves. Cagayan Valley is a place of flourishing culture and traditions,
hidden wonders of man-made and natural resources. Creating a place of collective workspace
solution with diverse services that promotes the hidden beauty of Cagayan Valley and an
environment which provide comfort and protection to the people specifically the users and where
people of the town will be the beneficiary of the end-product.
