Rationale: School-Based Management (SBM) places significant

decision-making power from the State and district offices to
schools. An alternative approach to improve the education system,
it lets principals, teachers, students, and parents decide on
education-related issues like concerns on budget, personnel, and
the curriculum. School leaders across the nation are exploring
ways to better educate students and improve school performance.
School-Based management (SBM) offers a way to promote
improvement by decentralizing control from central district offices
to individual school sites. It attempts to give school constituents--
administrators, teachers, parents and other community members--

more control over what happens in schools. Thus to further

strengthen the preparation of documents and since the teachers
lack some knowledge about it, Hinabay Elementary School staff
purposely scheduled this workshop to prepare the documents
needed in the validation of School Based Management (SBM).

Objective(s): The activity aims to:

a. Create the SBM Team on the different principles and
its indicators;
b. Revisit the E-SIP/AIP target vis-a vis accomplishments
with MOVs;
c. Prepare all required documents /MOVs/Artifacts in
