This book talks for a boy, named Harry. When he was just a little baby his parents were killed Lord
Voldmort. Lord Voldmort also tried to kill Harry, but in the end he couldn't and just disappeared without
a sign.
That's why all the wizards called Harry "The boy who lived", since he was the only one to escape the
fearsome Lord alive. Since Harry's parents died Albus Dumbledor, Minerva McGonagall and Rubeus
Hagrid decided to let Harry live with his uncle and aunt. Ten years later, when Harry after being kept in
the dark, he finally understood that he was a wizard, but only after Rubeus Hagrid told him that.
He also told Harry, that he would be able to attend the best school of magic Hogwarts. While attending
Hogwarts he learned more about magic and the history of his parents. There Harry met his two new
friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Together the had many adventures with the final one
leading them to discover that one of the professors at their school wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone,
which being able to give the wizard the possibility of immortality.
They decided to take the Philosopher's Stone before their professor, in order so to prevent it from falling
in the hands of Lord Voldemort. Together they went through many dangerous situations, however in the
end he needed to face the professor alone.
Although what he wouldn’t expect was for his professor to be hiding Lord Voldemort inside his body.
The later wasn’t able to get his hands on the precious stone, because Dombledors magic was more
powerful than his, so he tried using Harry.
Never would have he thought that Harry however was protected by a powerful lost magic created by his
mother in her last moments.
In the end Lord Voldemort was defeated again and Harry was able to enjoy the last moments of his first
year in Hogwarts celebrating with his friends and dormates, because they had won the house cup.
