Duty to the nation

Being a citizen of a country a person needs to perform the duties individually. Everyone has to
perform the duties of citizenship in the country to provide a bright future. Duty towards the
country is having moral commitments and performing all responsibilities individually or in a
group. Citizens should obey all government-made guidelines, policies, and laws for peace and a
better life. If a country is developed, poor or backward, everything depends on people.

As a citizen of the country, an individual should never encourage crime and should raise a voice
against it. He/she should show some empathy towards the environment around him. As a citizen
we have the right to choose the leader ( prime minister/ president) for the country, but when we
elect or vote we need to choose the leader rationally so that he/she does not promote corruption
in the country, and makes the country clean and beautiful.

As a duty to the nation, a person should always abide by the law which is been made and should
never try to break the law; he/she should respect the authority and every person of a country
should encourage other people around him to the same.

People should keep their surroundings and locality clean. They need to teach the future
generations (children) to do the same and also cultivate the habit of using dustbin to promote
cleanliness. Everyone should be fair and loyal to their country and fellow people. We should
have a sense of mutual interest and should follow social and economic policies for the country's
welfare.

A person should develop a sense of patriotism towards the country, help the poor and needy.
They should respect the country's social and economic policies and should provide great
hospitality to both local and foreign tourists. Hence, contributing to the welfare of the country.
