One of the biggest factors in the success of Byju is the low-cost of
studying from it. Comparing the prices of their courses with various
metro cities, Byju courses are much cheaper which led to the immense
popularity of the app.

Byju aims to develop a conceptual clarity to the students by a proper
3D visualization tapped to the syllabus as well. Byju provides superior
teachers, cutting edge technology, a live audio-video connection
between teachers and the students, learning management tools, etc to
the students for a better understanding of the syllabus as well which
makes it popular in the Indian Market.

 Targeting the Perfect Audience 


Byju's team creates high-value intensive courses for school children and
for students preparing for competitive exams. They target this section
perfectly and provide deeply researched and well-curated courses to
the students of this niche. Apart from that, they concentrated on
creating spoken English courses and Coding courses which are getting
immensely popular in Indian Markets.

Byju provides a customized and smart learning journey for the students

Byju follows a freemium business model. Most of Byju's revenue is


incurred from the subscription amount which is paid by the students
for learning. Byju also earns from the products purchased from their
website, offline career counseling, offline coaching, and the revenues
from API. The organization apparently uses 20% of its incomes for
promoting its products which gives the organization a generous ROI.
This is a decent sum spent on promoting when contrasted with
numerous organizations that simply burn through 5% on their
attention. The Renewal rate of Byju is 89%.

Byju’s work environment has contributed to the company’s


endeavoring success. Byju’s work environment promotes a work-life
balance by focusing on the major aspects of a positive work
environment that promotes employee engagement. However,
sometimes, the workload of BDAs, etc. gets a little hectic. Byju’s has a
great work environment and has opportunities for freshers to develop
soft skills and also provides career advancement opportunities for the
deserving candidates.

Challenges faced by Byju:

The major challenge faced by Byju is to convert the students to the paid
subscribers after the completion of the free trial period as Byju follows
a freemium business model. Also, the company is working towards
expanding to other English speaking countries, and thus, finding
suitable partners to aid this expansion is a challenge that the company
is facing in terms of marketing and a business partner.
