What makes Man a personality: how to thrive and survive in a
modern world
Personality consists of habits, traits and ideas of an individual.
Personality refers to internal as well as external qualities, some of which are quite general. But it is unique to each individual. It is not possible for a person to reproduce or imitate the qualities of the personality of another person.
Everyone has a different personality and there are a lot of factors
which contribute to that personality. Every person goes through different stages in life. The first one and most crucial is childhood. That is the period when our character is beginning to form, based on what we see and hear from our parents. Parents have more effect on personality development as compared to other members of the family or society. What’s more, personality represents the process of learning. It takes place in reference to the environment. We do not acquire all the traits of personality at once. In other words, it means that when we come in contact with other members of society, we acquire certain qualities. All these come to form personality. ● Environmental, Situational, Cultural Factors ● Family and Social Factors ● Intelligence. ● Psychological Factors. Which play a big role in the functioning of human behavior and the development of one’s personality. Some of the psychological factors are motives, acquired interests, attitudes, character, intellectual capacities
If I should ponder a question who is A modern man is a tolerant
man. Tolerance is essential for peaceful coexistence in our world. Modern societies are more globalised, diverse and multicultural than ever. Societies that were once monocultural have been transformed into eclectic melting pots, filled with people from across the globe. In this new world, our differences have never been so evident. This new reality means that interactions with people who hold different viewpoints to our own are something that we experience on a daily basis. Modern man also travels a lot and he is eager to become better and know more. Though he doesn’t overload his brain by going too fast, too soon. Because the more you learn, the more you realise how little you know. That’s humbling, but also inspiring because there’s always more to learn. Probably, he or she had some bitter experience in life, but managed to overcome difficulties. How to thrive in a constantly changing modern world? How to succeed? To some, when they think of success, they imagine wealth; others want power; some want to make a positive impact on the world. All of these are perfectly valid, indeed success is a concept that means different things to different people. Though no matter what success is to you, it almost certainly isn’t something what will come easily. Constantly changing modern world has detrimental effect on our health. As time passes and humanity develops new technologies, we would expect new generations to be healthier and live longer. Sadly, the opposite is true for children in most countries: they are moody, overweight, sick, and getting sicker, they experience peer pressure. Developmental issues are common. As a matter of fact, this is the first time in history when children are expected to have shorter life spans than their parents.
As a society we have gone from our internal common sense of
reasonable limits to the ridiculous goal of 'keeping up with the Jones'. Quality time' has become a commodity into itself. Unfortunately, there is no marketplace for quality time, you have to preserve it for yourself. So, why not use the time in your life, skip the money and the taxation and go straight for the happiness that usually comes from the non-material?
