Results:

A one-way analysis of variance was conducted on the influence of defects on an independent variable (Machine) while operating. Machine type includes three levels
(Machine1, Machine2 & Machine3). All effects were statistically significant at the .05 significance level. The effect of Machine type yielded an F ratio of F(2,158)=6.910,
p<.001, this clearly indicates that there is a significant difference between the defects of Machine 1 (M=10.528, SD=8.4730) to Machine 2 (M=5.722, SD=4.6719) and to
Machine 3 (M=9.852, SD=8.0433). To Summarize, these results suggests that high defects has an effect on the operations of machine1, 2 and 3.
