Greetings!
The Disaster Management and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Committee under the Philippine College of Emergency Medicine (PCEM),
a specialty society under the Philippine Medical Association, is pleased to inform that the National EMS Week Celebration this year will finally
kick off in Bacolod City, Province of Negros Occidental this August 11 – 16, 2019. The activity is in collaboration with the Department of Health
– Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine as host institution, the Province of Negros
Occidental as host local government unit and other stakeholders on emergency care. The EMS Week Celebration commenced in 2015 has
become an annual major event in the Philippines to recognize the work of EMS Community, uplift EMS practice and standards by providing
scientific workshops and trainings and; advocate community on emergency / disaster preparedness and appropriate response.
This year’s theme, “Empowering Filipinos in Emergencies and Disasters” will reinforce cooperation among frontline emergency care providers
and focus on EMS as a crucial link in the access and delivery of emergency healthcare system in the country. We are extending our warm
invitation to your esteemed office particularly among EMS Personnel, ED nurses and physicians and stakeholders working in the field of
emergency and disaster management.
The different activities have different organizing teams but will be coursed thru a centralized registration system with the link

invitations per specific activity as addendum to this invitation.
