Except 4,5t:
1) Tighten hub nut to 180 Nm and rotate hub 3 turns.
2) Slacken off 360°.
3) Tighten hub nut to 4 Nm and rotate hub 3 turns, repeat twice.
4) Rotate hub nut a maximum of 11° to align threaded holes of hub nut and lock washer. Lightly tighten lock washer fixing screws
and rotate hub 3 turns.
5) Check hub rotation starting torque is 0,2-1,7 Nm.
6) Tighten lock washer fixing screws to 7 Nm.
4,5t:
1) Tighten inner hub nut to 98 Nm, then rotate hub 12 turns in both directions and re-check torque.
2) Loosen inner hub nut a maximum of 7° to align lock washer, bend locking tabs.
3) Tighten outer lock nut to 157 Nm.
4) Loosen outer lock nut a maximum of 14° to align lock washer, bend locking tabs.
5) Check wheel bearing end float is 0,01-0,05 mm.
Rear axle H260/H290
All models:
1) Tighten hub nut to 78 Nm and rotate hub 3 turns.
2) Slacken off until hub nut can be turned by hand.
3) Tighten hub nut to 51 Nm and rotate hub 3 turns. Then slacken off hub nut.
4) Tighten hub nut to 51 Nm and rotate hub 3 turns.
5) Loosen hub nut a maximum of 22° to align threaded holes of hub nut and lock washer, then rotate hub 3 turns.
6) Check hub rotation starting torque is 0,73-3,32 Nm.
7) Check wheel bearing end float is 0 mm.
8) Tighten lock washer fixing screws to 7 Nm.
