Elias’ Mailventure 
EPISODE 101: The Box 
 
EXT. POST OFFICE - DAY (SCENIC) 
ELIAS is walking to the post office. ELIAS opens the door, 
the chime rings. 
 
INT. POST OFFICE - COUNTER RECEPTION - DAY 
Door closes and the chimes ring again. ELIAS walks to the 
counter and rests his arms down. ELIAS looks at his WORK 
PARTNER. 
 
ELIAS 
(unenergetic) 
“So what do I have today? More packages 
that people ordered online?” 
 
WORK PARTNER 
“Cheer up man! Today’s gonna be a great 
day for you. There aren’t a lot of 
things you have to deliver.” 
 
ELIAS puts his head down on the counter. 
 
ELIAS 
“Even though. I want mails, mails that 
are written by people—” 
 
WORK PARTNER 
“Well why do you want those badly?” 
 
ELIAS 
(annoyed) 
“You know what (sighs), just give me 
the packages.” 
 
WORK PARTNER 
“Get them yourself at the back, I have 
other things to do.”

ELIAS stands up properly, looks at his WORK PARTNER. 
 
ELIAS 
“You know sometimes you get to my 
nerves.” 
 
ELIAS walking to the back rooms. 
 
INT. POST OFFICE - BACK ROOM - DAY 
ELIAS then gathered all the packages he needs to deliver 
today. 
 
EXT. POST OFFICE - PARKING LOT - DAY 
ELIAS went to the mail van and then is placing the packages 
inside. 
ELIAS 
“So where to first?” 
 
ELIAS closes the mail van, looks at his tablet and then 
goes inside the van. 
 
ELIAS 
“First stop is, Van Gogh.” 
 
ELIAS grabs the key, places it in the keyhole and twists 
it. 
 
MONTAGE (MUSIC FADE-IN): 
The engine starts and ELIAS drives away from the post 
office. ELIAS arrives at VAN GOGH’s house and opens his 
door. ELIAS goes to the back of the mail van, ELIAS then 
opens the mail van and grabs VAN GOGH’s package. 
 
ELIAS goes to the front door, places the package down, and 
rings the doorbell. ELIAS moves back and starts to go back 
(cont’d) ​to his van. VAN GOGH opens his door and waves, 
ELIAS waves back. ELIAS does this to houses ​quadruple 
times​.

(MUSIC FADE-OUT) 
 
EXT. HILLIARD PARK - TACO WAKO FOOD TRUCK - DAY 
ELIAS parks at the bike lane. ELIAS goes out of the van and 
goes to the food truck nearby. ELIAS approaches BENJAMIN, 
the food truck owner. 
 
ELIAS 
(unenergetic) 
“Anything new on your menu?” 
 
BENJAMIN 
“Nothing new yet, but I do have one 
that I’m experimenting with.” 
 
ELIAS 
“I guess I’ll take the usual.” 
 
BENJAMIN 
“Alright. You sure you don’t need a 
drink right now?” 
 
BENJAMIN writes the order down, and looks back at ELIAS. 
 
BENJAMIN (cont’d) 
“You look down, what’s wrong? Did 
something bad happen today to you 
buddy?” 
 
ELIAS 
“No, nothing bad today. It’s just that 
I just want people to send mails to 
each other again. And also yeah, I’ll 
have the drink.” 
 
BENJAMIN goes to his cooking station and prepares the food.

BENJAMIN 
“Well, I did send mails to my wife a 
lot back then.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Why did you guys not like to stay 
together, the same city?” 
 
BENJAMIN 
“Buddy, if our work would be the same 
then me and my wife would be living 
together.” 
 
BENJAMIN approaches the counter and places ELIAS’ order. 
 
BENJAMIN 
“Anyways, here’s the usual and a drink. 
The drink is on me boy.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Woah! Thanks!” 
 
ELIAS gives £2.5, but all in a 50p coin. 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
“Has anything exciting happened 
lately?” 
 
ELIAS eats his taco. BENJAMIN thinks hard but couldn’t 
think of one exciting thing. 
 
BENJAMIN (cont’d) 
“Ermmm...(in doubt).” 
 
 
ELIAS 
“Thought so. Nothing ever great happens 
to this city. Hilford is just one 
general place.”

ELIAS frowns while drinking his drink. 
 
BENJAMIN​ ​(cont’d) 
“Don’t say that boy. Exciting things 
happen in this city, you just haven’t 
adventured enough!” 
 
ELIAS stands up properly and puts his leftovers in the 
trash bin.

ELIAS​ (
“(sighs) Well, I’m off. I’ll go back to 
work now. Thanks for the free drink 
buddy.” 
 
ELIAS walks to his mail van. ELIAS opens the driver seat 
door and starts the car. 
 
ELIAS 
“Off to Gerald’s!” 
 
EXT. CITY - DAY & DESERTED CITY - DAY 
MONTAGE (MUSIC FADE-IN): 
ELIAS drives around the city. ELIAS reaches the deserted 
part of the city. 
(MUSIC FADE-OUT) 
 
EXT. GERALD’s FRONT YARD - DAY 
ELIAS gets out of his van. ELIAS grabs the package and 
delivers it to the front door. ELIAS slowly moves back and 
goes to his van. ELIAS stars the engine and then starts 
driving. 
 
 
EXT. FORESTY GREENS - DAY 
ELIAS looks at his surroundings, he seems confused on where 
he is. ELIAS stops the car at the side of the road.

ELIAS 
“Where am I supposed to go next?” 
 
ELIAS gets out of his mail van and goes behind the mail van 
to check the last package. ELIAS turns the box around to 
find the address for this delivery. 
 
ELIAS 
“Where is the delivery address for this 
package? Don’t tell me Michael forgot 
to put the address for this.” 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
“Well, this package looks old and 
dusty. I guess opening and checking 
what’s inside won’t hurt. Besides I 
have new boxes in the van.” 
 
ELIAS grabs his box cutter and tears the box open. ELIAS 
grabs the musical box looking item out of the box. 
 
ELIAS (surprised) 
“Oh wow, this item looks cool.” 
 
ELIAS (cont’d, confused) 
This looks like a music box. It 
wouldn’t hurt to listen.” 
 
ELIAS opens the musical box looking item. The music box 
sucks him in. 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
“(screams)”

EXT. MELFRIGHT (ELIAS’ SPAWN) - DAY 

ELIAS wakes up with a blurry vision. ELIAS head hurts, he 
checks his head with his hands. ELIAS checks his 
surroundings but isn’t familiar with it. 
 
ELIAS 
(confused) 
“Where am I?” 
 
ELIAS feels relief as he thinks he is dreaming. ELIAS lays 
on the ground and closes his eyes. 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
(relieved) 
“Ahh...just a dream.” 
 
MAEVE blocks the sun from ELIAS. 
 
ELIAS 
“Hey! Who’s blocking the sun?” 
 
ELIAS slowly opens his eyes. MAEVE and ELIAS stared at each 
other for a few seconds. 
 
ELIAS 
(shocked) 
“(screams)” 
 
ELIAS moves away from her while looking at her. 
 
ELIAS 
(confused & quick) 
“Who are you? Are you gonna hurt me? 
What are you doing here?” 
 
MAEVE laughs hard while pointing at ELIAS.

MAEVE 
(laughing) 
“Hurt you? (laughs) Me hurting you?” 
 
MAEVE notices that ELIAS is still scared. 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Oh you're serious? Let me answer your 
questions.” 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“First, I’m Maeve. I don’t hurt anyone 
unless I need to. And last is what are 
you doing here?” 
 
ELIAS 
“Me doing here? Wait, how did I get 
here?” 
 
MAEVE grabs ELIAS’ hand and goes out for a walk. 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Well you open the box didn’t you?” 
 
ELIAS 
“I did.” 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
(confused and stress) 
“(sighs) I still have a lot of 
questions to ask.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Well, I’ll try to answer all your 
questions if that makes you feel 
better. But for now we need to get back 
to my place before it gets dark.” 
 
ELIAS and MAEVE walk towards MAEVE's house.

EXT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - NIGHT 

ELIAS and MAEVE both arrived at MAEVE’s house. 
 
ELIAS 
(surprised) 
“I noticed that your house is the only 
one that’s made out of wood.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Come on in.” 
 
INT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT 
 
MAEVE 
“I’ll prepare some things for you, also 
is there anything you'd like to have?” 
 
ELIAS 
“Well, I don’t want anything, but can I 
use something?” 
 
MAEVE 
“What’s that?” 
 
ELIAS 
“The bathroom.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Oh, that door over there.” 
 
MAEVE points to the bathroom door, 
 
ELIAS 
“Thanks.” 
 
ELIAS walks to the bathroom, he opens the door, goes in and 
locks the door. ELIAS then looks at himself at the mirror.

ELIAS 
“I need to find a way to get out of 
here. I can’t just trust her yet.” 
 
INT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - KITCHEN (BATHROOM SIDE) - NIGHT 
ELIAS flushes the toilet. ELIAS opens the bathroom door and 
goes to the kitchen table. 
 
INT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - KITCHEN - NIGHT 
ELIAS sits down on the chair feeling down. MAEVE grabs the 
teapot. 
 
MAEVE 
“You want some tea?” 
 
ELIAS 
“I’ll pass. Just got out of the 
bathroom, I don’t wanna fill my bladder 
again.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Alright.” 
 
MAEVE pours tea in her own cup. MAEVE then places the 
teapot back on the stove. 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Should we get into your questions?” 
 
ELIAS 
“Yeah, that’ll be nice.” 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
“Where am I?” 
 
MAEVE explains with hand gestures.

MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Well, the place you are in right now 
is my home. But seriously welcome to 
Melfright.” 
 
ELIAS 
(interested) 
“Hmm..Melfright you say? What are you?” 
 
MAEVE 
(offended) 
“I feel offended—” 
 
ELIAS 
“I didn’t mean to.” 
 
MAEVE 
“It’s fine, I’m used to it. By the way, 
what’s your name?” 
 
ELIAS 
“Oh, I thought I introduced myself 
already. But I guess I didn’t. My name 
is Elias.” 
 
MAEVE stands up and walks around in her house. 
 
MAEVE 
“Well, we have to get you home and let 
you send the package to Valerie.” 
 
ELIAS 
“I was just about to ask that. Also, 
who is Valerie and what am I delivering 
to her?” 
 
MAEVE looks straight to ELIAS’ eyes.

MAEVE 
“The box you opened.” 
 
ELIAS 
“I don’t have the box with me right 
now. I didn’t have it with me when I 
woke up back there.” 
 
MAEVE 
(shocked) 
“You don’t have the box with you?!” 
 
ELIAS 
(confused) 
“What’s so important about that box?” 
 
MAEVE 
(screaming) 
“It’s the only way for you to get back 
home.” 
 
INT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT 
MAEVE starts packing her things up. MAEVE goes to 
the front door and opens the door. ELIAS runs to 
MAEVE and stops her from going out. 
 
ELIAS 
(concerned) 
“We shouldn’t go out at this time. It’s 
dark and dangerous out there.” 
 
MAEVE 
(screaming) 
“I’m not a kid anymore. We have to find 
the box, we can’t let the box go into 
the wrong hands.”

ELIAS 
(worried) 
“Maeve don’t worry. It’s better to 
start searching tomorrow, we might miss 
it if it’s dark.” 
 
MAEVE 
(screaming) 
“No! We have to find it now, we have to 
get you back home and...and...and...” 
 
ELIAS 
“And what? Besides I’m not in a rush to 
get back home, home is a boring place 
for me.” 
 
MAEVE steps away from the door and exhales. 
 
MAEVE 
(calm) 
“I’m sorry.(sigh) You can take the 
couch to rest, I’ll go to my room now. 
 
MAEVE puts her backpack down. MAEVE walks to her 
room and she closes the bedroom. ELIAS walks to 
the couch, he sits down, then lays down. 
 
SLAM CUT TO - BLACK SCREEN

INT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DAY 
ELIAS wakes up and smells cooking. ELIAS gets up and goes 
to the kitchen. MAEVE is cooking in the kitchen with her 
robe. 
 
ELIAS 
(tired) 
“Bacon and eggs huh?”

MAEVE 
(annoyed) 
“Do you not like bacon and eggs?” 
 
MAEVE puts the bacon and eggs on a plate and serves it to 
ELIAS. 
 
ELIAS 
“Are you not gonna eat?” 
 
MAEVE 
“I don’t eat, also you should hurry. We 
need to find the box.” 
 
SLAM CUT TO: 
 
EXT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - DAY 
MAEVE closes the door. ELIAS and MAEVE adventures out to 
find the box. 
 
ELIAS 
“This place is interesting. What stuff 
usually happens here?” 
 
MAEVE 
(bored) 
“Same old boring stuff. Like flying 
cats and a phoenix bird that lives 
somewhere around here.” 
 
ELIAS 
(excited) 
“What do you mean boring stuff? Nothing 
like that in our place happens MAEVE.”

MAEVE 
“Elias have you learned that if you get 
used to things it won’t be as exciting 
as your first time seeing or having 
it.” 
 
ELIAS feels down and looks at the mushroom house. 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to.” 
 
ELIAS 
“No, it’s fine. I guess I still have a 
lot of things to learn.” 
 
ELIAS stays behind and concentrately looks at those 
mushroom houses. ELIAS sees something inside the mushroom 
houses. 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Come on, we are almost at the place 
from where you appeared.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Coming.” 
 
ELIAS stares out of the mushroom houses and runs to MAEVE. 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHT (ELIAS’ SPAWN) - DAY 
ELIAS and MAEVE arrive at the place where ELIAS appeared. 
 
MAEVE 
“Well this is where I found you.” 
 
ELIAS and MAEVE both look around for clues. 
 
ELIAS 
“There’s a trail here, should we follow 
it?”

“There are no other clues around, I 
guess we follow that. 
 
ELIAS and MEAVE both follow the trail. 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHT - MORSHROOM COUNTY (HOUSE 1) - DAY 
ELIAS and MAEVE both arrives on Morshroom County. ELIAS and 
MEAVE goes to a blue mushroom house and knocks. 
 
MAEVE 
“Hello? Anyone in, we have a question 
to ask?” 
 
MORSHROOM TOWNY 1 opens his door. 
 
MORSHROOM TOWNY 1 (cont’d) 
(old) 
“What is the question dear?” 
 
MAEVE 
“Have you got any chance of seeing or 
having a music box looking item?” 
 
MORSHROOM TOWNY 1 
(old) 
“Sorry I haven’t seen what you are 
finding, try talking to other townies 
here.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Thank you.” 
 
MONTAGE (SCORE FADE-IN): 
ELIAS and MAEVE went to a different mushroom house, but the 
same thing went for the next house.

“We should split up to find it quicker, 
there’s still a lot of houses to go.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Yeah good idea.” 
 
ELIAS and MAEVE both split up and went to different 
mushroom houses and ask, but the same thing went for all 
the houses they went to. 
(SCORE FADE-OUT) 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHT - MORSHROOM COUNTRY (RED HOUSE) - DAY 
ELIAS and MAEVE met back together near the tall red 
mushroom house. 
 
MAEVE 
“We’ve been to all houses and no one 
got a clue where.” 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
(sobbing) 
“We won’t find the box, you wouldn’t be 
able to go home. I wouldn’t be able to 
spend time with her.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Who’s her?” 
 
MAEVE 
(sobbing) 
“Valerie.” 
 
ELIAS 
(concerned) 
“Cheer up, we’ll find the box.”

MAEVE 
(angry) 
“No, it’s all your fault. I told you 
that we should have gone to find it 
yesterday night.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Come on MAEVE just this last house and 
let’s go for a rest.” 
 
MAEVE 
(angrily crying) 
“No! Don’t act like I’m a child who 
doesn’t know anything. I’ve lived 
longer than you.” 
 
MAEVE runs away from ELIAS. 
 
ELIAS 
(angry) 
“With or without her, I’m gonna look 
for the box myself.” 
 
ELIAS knocks on the door. FUNGER opens the door. 
 
FUNGER 
(grumpy) 
“What is it?!” 
 
ELIAS 
“Have you found a music box looking 
item?” 
 
FUNGER grabs it out of his pocket. 
 
FUNGER 
“You mean this?”

ELIAS 
“Yes that.” 
 
FUNGER 
“What about it boy?” 
 
ELIAS 
“I believe you have taken that from me 
when I was knocked out. So can I have 
the box?” 
 
FUNGER 
“Finders keeper boy besides I found out 
very recently. You’re gonna have to go 
through me to get the box.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Sir, there must be another way?” 
 
FUNGER brings up his fist. ELIAS moves back slowly and runs 
away from FUNGER. FUNGER chases ELIAS. 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHT - MORSHROOM WOODS - DAY 
ELIAS goes into a forest and hides behind the tree. 
 
FUNGER 
“Hey boy, I know you’re hiding in this 
forest. I’m gonna put my fist through 
the trunk.” 
 
FUNGER punches through the trunk of the tree. 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
(panic) 
“Maeve! Help me!” 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHTS - MORSHROOM WOODS B - DAY 
MAEVE kicks the stones nearby her. MAEVE grabs several 
twigs and breaks it into half.

MAEVE 
“What does he need help with?” 
 
ELIAS (V.O.) 
(panic) 
“Maeve, I’m getting chased by a fungus 
jerk. Help!!!” 
 
MAEVE 
“I need to help him. Even if it means 
to lose her.” 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHTs - MORSHROOM WOODS - DAY 
FUNGER is still chasing ELIAS. ELIAS trips on a 
rock. FUNGER gets to him. 
 
FUNGER 
“Looks like you’re done. You’re a 
terrible person.” 
 
ELIAS 
(discouragement) 
“I guess you’re right.” 
 
FUNGER 
“Now, I’m gonna—” 
 
MAEVE (V.O.) 
(shouting) 
“Elias over here!” 
 
ELIAS looks over to wherever the voice was coming from. 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Come on ELIAS, over here now.” 
 
ELIAS stands up and runs to MAEVE.

MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Follow my plan alright?” 
 
ELIAS 
“Sure.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Now I want you to find a plant named 
Jessamine.” 
 
ELIAS 
“How am I supposed to do that? I don’t 
know what it looks like, besides I’m 
not a florist. .” 
 
MAEVE 
(annoyed) 
“Arghh...just find a point that’s 
higher than the fungus!” 
 
ELIAS looks for a high area while running away 
from FUNGER. 
 
ELIAS 
(out of breath) 
“This should be high enough.” 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
(shouting) 
“What should I do now?!!” 
 
MAEVE (V.O.) 
“Just stay there.” 
 
ELIAS 
(panic) 
“Stay here? What do you mean here?!!”

MAEVE (V.O.) 
“Trust me!” 
 
ELIAS 
“Alright!” 
 
ELIAS closes his eyes. MAEVE jump from the high point to 
FUNGER’s head. MAEVE rubs the Jessamin in FUNGER’s head. 
ELIAS then opens his eyes. FUNGER falls to the ground 
unconscious. 
 
ELIAS 
“Woah, did you just kill the guy?” 
 
MAEVE 
“No I didn’t. He’s just unconscious, I 
wouldn’t kill anyone.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Grab the box in his pocket.” 
 
ELIAS goes to FUNGER and grabs the box. ELIAS then goes to 
MAEVE. 
 
ELIAS 
“Maeve, I’m sorry. I should’ve listened 
to you last night.” 
 
MAEVE 
“It’s fine. We’ve got the box anyways. 
Let’s head out now.” 
 
ELIAS 
“How about this guy here, do we take 
him back to his home?”

MAEVE 
“Leave him alone, he can find his way 
back home once he wakes up.” 
 
ELIAS and MAEVE both walk to the main area of Morshroom 
County. ELIAS looks back at FUNGER on the ground. 
 
MAEVE 
“Stop staring at him, let’s go.” 
 
---END OF EPISODE 101, PHASE 3--- 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHTS - COTTON FIELDS - DAY 
ELIAS and MAEVE both arrive at the cotton fields. MAEVE 
feels tired. 
 
MAEVE 
(tired) 
“Can we take a rest here? I’m tired 
from all that action back there.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Oh okay, sure.” 
 
MAEVE lays down on the ground. ELIAS sits down on the 
ground. 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
“What you did there was pretty 
awesome?” 
 
MAEVE 
“Heh. Thanks.” 
 
ELIAS 
“How did you know that jessamines could 
knock a person out?”

MAEVE 
“Well, I’ve done some research before. 
And supposedly the flower would’ve 
killed him.” 
 
ELIAS 
(shocked) 
“Oh…” 
 
MAEVE 
“But...we were lucky that it only 
knocked him out.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Well how did you touch the plant 
without getting knocked out or getting 
killed at least.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Hey! I have my own ways. Also, I’m 
gonna do a shut eye, so wake me up when 
it’s sunset.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Oh alright, will do.” 
 
MAEVE closes her eyes. 
 
SLAM CUT TO - BLACK SCREEN 
EXT. MELFRIGHTS - COTTON FIELDS - DAY 
MAEVE slowly wakes up from a sound. 
 
ELIAS (V.O.) 
(panic) 
“Maeve! Maeve! Wake up.” 
 
ELIAS shakes MAEVE. MAEVE wakes up properly and sees 
FUNGER.

(in fear) 
“(screams)” 
 
ELIAS 
(in fear) 
“We gotta go!” 
 
ELIAS and MAEVE run away from FUNGER. MAEVE finds a cave 
and points at it. 
 
MAEVE 
(breathing) 
“Over there, a cave we could hide 
there.” 
 
EXT. MELFRIGHT - STONE FOREST CAVE - DAY 
ELIAS and MAEVE run to the cave and go into the cave. 
 
INT. MELFRIGHT - STONE FOREST CAVE - DAY 
ELIAS and MAEVE hide behind a tall rock. 
 
MAEVE 
(breathing) 
“He shouldn’t be able to find us here—” 
 
FUNGER 
(angry) 
“Arghh...where are you, I’m not done 
with you!” 
 
FUNGER throws a rock hard to the ground, the rock breaks 
into pieces. FUNGER passes by the cave without noticing. 
 
MAEVE 
“Okay, I think we’re safe. Let’s go.”

ELIAS 
“No, it’s not safe yet. It’s only been 
seconds from him passing by. He is 
mostly still in a search nearby.” 
 
MAEVE 
“Okay, you’re right. But let’s move 
before the night comes.” 
 
ELIAS exhales and inhales loudly. 
 
SLAM CUT TO: 
INT. MELFRIGHTS - STONE FOREST CAVE - SUNSET 
ELIAS wakes up from MAEVE’s snoring. ELIAS looks outside 
and notices it’s getting dark. ELIAS wakes up MAEVE. 
 
ELIAS 
“Maeve it’s time to go it’s getting 
dark.” 
 
MAEVE 
(half awake) 
“Not now, I want more sleep.” 
 
ELIAS 
“Come on now!” 
 
MAEVE 
“Alright, alright.” 
 
MAEVE stands up. ELIAS and MAEVE start to walk to the 
direction where MAEVE’s house is. 
 
INT. MAEVE’s HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT 
MAEVE opens the door. ELIAS and MAEVE both enter MAEVE’s 
house. ELIAS places the box on the coffee table. ELIAS and 
MAEVE sits down on the couch.

MAEVE 
“Well, are you ready to go home?” 
 
ELIAS 
(excited) 
“Yeah!” 
 
MAEVE 
“Before you do, I’m giving you this 
paper that has an address on where you 
should deliver this box to.” 
 
MAEVE gives the paper to ELIAS. 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
“Okay, wait you aren’t coming?” 
 
MAEVE 
“Heh. I can't go with you, I have to 
protect the lands here.” 
 
ELIAS frowns. 
 
MAEVE (cont’d) 
“Don’t be sad, we’ll meet someday again 
and I’m sure of that. But it’s time to 
go now, just open the box and you’ll be 
back to your own world.” 
 
ELIAS opens the box and gets transported back to his own 
world. 
 
EXT. MAEVE’s HOUSE (IN A DISTANT) - NIGHT  
FUNGER sees a bright light in the house. FUNGER sees ELIAS’ 
going away. FUNGER leaves them alone. 
 
EXT. FORESTY GREENS - NIGHT 
ELIAS feels nauseous and feels that he has a headache.

“I still need to get used to going 
between dimensions.” 
 
MONTAGE (MUSIC FADE-IN): 
 
ELIAS (cont’d) 
“I still have to deliver this package 
to her.” 
 
ELIAS goes into his van and starts driving to the location. 
(MUSIC FADE-OUT) 
 
EXT. VALERIE’s HOUSE - NIGHT 
ELIAS arrives at VALERIE’s house. 
 
ELIAS 
(unsure) 
“This is the address.” 
 
ELIAS goes out of his mail van. ELIAS walks to the front 
door. ELIAS knocks on the door. VALERIE opens the door. 
 
ELIAS 
“Here’s mail for you.” 
 
ELIAS stares at VALERIE. 
 
VALERIE 
“What’s this, it’s all torned up?” 
 
ELIAS 
“It’s a box that goes to your friend 
Maeve. I’m sorry that it’s all torned 
up and late at night.” 
 
VALERIE 
“Oh no, it’s fine. Would you like to 
come in?”

ELIAS 
“No, it’s fine. I wanna go home and be 
in that dimension for a day already.” 
ELIAS gives the torn package to VALERIE. ELIAS then runs 
back to his mail van. 
 
VALERIE (V.O.) 
(shouting) 
“We should go on some adventure some 
time!” 
 
ELIAS 
“Sure!” 
 
ELIAS waves goodbye to VALERIE. VALERIE waved back. ELIAS 
goes in his mail van. ELIAS drives away. 
 
SLAM CUT TO: 
INT. VALERIE's HOUSE - BEDROOM - NIGHT 
VALERIE places the box in her own bed. 
 
VALERIE 
“I’m glad you're back.” 
 
VALERIE grabs the box and opens it, she disappears.
