INTRODUCTION

Description of the Business


Arat Na! is a street food business and will be established as a food stall to
fully indulge the street food concept. It offers Filipino street foods such as fries ,
kekiam, fish ball, tempura, and a chocolate drink and will serve customer in an
accommodations service to satisfy their needs.
Since most of the people today are more indulge with the use of technologies
especially the internet, online businesses also became a trend. This quarantine
became a hindrance for the people to go out freely and by these kinds of foods,
which is the most typical snacks to buy anywhere in the Philippines. Thus, this is
beneficial to customer as it offers convenience and they will get to taste these foods
again where many people surely miss those times. Its target customers are the
people who live in the same street and also those who live in neighboring street. Its
main object is to revive Filipinos favorite snack since quarantine restrictions brought
by the COVID-19 virus affected small businesses including food cart that offer these
kinds of foods.

Proposed Name of the Business


The name of the establishment is “Arat na!”, is an inverted slang word which
means “Let’s go!”. “Arat” is an alternative spelling of the word “Tara “. The idea
proposed a product name that will surely get the attention of the customers since it
elicits simplicity, uniqueness, and character that will surely leave an impression on
our customers.

Address of the Business


The stall of Arat Na! will be located in Purok 1 Centro, Lourdes, Alubijid,
MIsamis Oriental. The business owners will put up a stall rather than rent or make a
store due to lack of budget. Furthermore, the location strategically attracts more
customers as it is placed approximately in the market and near the schools of
Lourdes. Being placed in a crowded location, presence of competitors, whether
direct or indirect, may be possible. However, a business has to be competitive and
should be able to take risks moreover in the presence of competitors. Moreover, if
the business continuously grows and succeeds, making a big stall or store will be
possible in the future.
Name of the Owners
The founders of the business are the Grade 12 Accountancy, Business and
Management (ABM) students of Alubijid National Comprehensive High School. The
name of the owners are Bea E. Sancover, Estelle Vera Canaugan, Khrizty O.
Sabellina, Marivic O. Guaman, and Rowena Mae D. Jamorol.

They established this business and wanted to learn more through this business to
offer delicious, clean, and safe street foods that are quickly in a distinctive way. The
business expects that the founders will contribute all of their knowledge and
capabilities to meet the business goals in order to achieve success. The owners of
this business have an experience and skills that will help them to be successful in
their start up business.

Funding Sources
The starting capital of the business would be Php 1,200.00, which will be equally
invested by the six owners amounting to Php 200.00. The source of funds are from
the savings of six (6) business owners. The amount will be allotted for different
expenses such as, raw materials, supplies, and other necessary expenses in running
the business.

To increase the trust contentment and satisfaction of customers and
community when it comes to street foods. A food stall business which brings
happiness to every valued customer through delicious and quality street foods and
drinks.

To provide quality affordable and clean street food to our barangay in a
convenient and reasonable way in order to enhance the quality of our customer lives.

MARKETING PLAN

Product Description
Arat Na! is a street food stall business that sell different kinds of street foods
and different flavored drinks, that is located to the Lourdes, Alubijid. Arat Na! is not
the first business that offer street foods but it will give a better service and better
product. The products are fries, kekiam, tempura, fishball, and flavored drinks such
as Choco and Orange.
The business is for the people who wants a delicious but cheaper food when
they are hungry. The business owners build this business because first, it is very
affordable. Second, customers will be satisfied the street foods. Lastly, customers
will satisfy their cravings.

Target Market
The target market of the business are the residents of Lourdes, Alubijid and
outside of the barangay. Any age or gender is welcome to purchase the products.
Nevertheless, despite the fact that there are few street food stall in Lourdes, the
business intended to target the majority of the people as the products are good, safe,
and healthy for everyone. The business is going to open the stall, men and women
at all ages can buy the products mostly teenagers that loves to eat street foods.

Competitors
There is always a competition when you are having a business. In business,
the competitors are the Ching’s snack bar and other street food stalls in the
community which is located in Lourdes, Alubijid. The advantage of the business is
they offer a low-priced product. The product is delicious and can be approved by
many people. The customers and competitors will know that the business is not on
how costly or not your product, it's the way on how people who enjoys their business
and the way the business satisfy the needs of customers.

Promotion Strategies
The Arat Na! will address the cravings of the people nearby for street foods
and drinks. To make it more unique and pleasing to the eye, the business will apply
eco-friendly packaging so that it will look more presentable to post in social media
platforms, and of course, be as it is when it reach the customers.

The following are the strategies that will be used in the business:
Home Selling- the business will accept walk-in customers in which health protocols
will not be sacrificed for the safety of everyone.
Food Stall- the business will use food stall to sell their products. This is a cheaper
marketing strategy since it does not require additional efforts and costs for delivery
services. Moreover, the customers will witness how clean the surrounding of the
business.
PRODUCTION PLAN

Product Price
The products offered by Arat Na! are affordable and will surely be more
preferred than to buy and cook for the customers themselves. This is because of the
Arat Na! service they will receive which anyone can presume that they will spend
less if they just buy these affordable and reasonable price. The price list will be:
