Amnesty International
Amnesty International is an organization which is here to work for the release of
prisoners of conscience and for the total abolition of torture. Prisoners of conscience means
anybody who is imprisoned or restricted or detained in some way only because of his beliefs,
religious or political , or because of his ethnic origin or the colour or his language.
  All the money which Amnesty receives for its work is voluntarily donated by many
sources and it is not to accept government money so that it can be completely clean in terms
of anybody saying to them: “We believe you are no longer impartial”. Amnesty must be
impartial.
