5. Trip Circuits:
5.1. Ensure that all selector switches of instantaneous over
current and earth fault protection relays of bus section and N/A
bus coupler are in (out-position).
5.2. Confirm that all trip links (especially for UV and UF) are

connected as per approved final settings/drawings.
5.3. Check all test switches visually to ensure that no CABLE
TIE or other materials are available inside it that could Done
isolate trip circuits.
5.4. Confirm that there is no temporary connection in trip

circuits or closing circuits
6. Alarms:
6.1. Confirm that all links for alarms in all panels are closed. Done
6.2. Make sure that there are no alarms on annunciators,

relays, and SAS HMI (as applicable).
6.3. Check all test switches visually to ensure that no CABLE
TIE or other materials are available inside it that could Done
isolate alarms.
7. Auxiliaries:
7.1. Confirm that there is no temporary shorting or grounding

available at auxiliary transformer & RMU terminals.

7.3. Confirm that all cables are properly connected for ACDB,

DCDB, RMU, and auxiliary transformers.

7.5. Confirm that the tap changer of the auxiliary transformer

is set on the normal tap.
8. General Checking:
8.1. Confirm that all panels are closed from the front and rear
sides (especially 13.8 kV MV Switchgear) and there is no Done
tool inside the panels.
8.2. Check that all thermostats are adjusted as per the
approved drawings, and its selector switches are in the Done
Auto position.
