The Last Leaf

Important part of story

The most important and interesting part of the
story is when the old man Behrman had
painted the leaf on the tree. Behrman was
infected by Pneumonia but despite this he
managed to make leaf so that johnsy don’t lose
her hope to live. Behrman was an old man. He
was an unsuccessful painter. He always talked
about painting a masterpiece that would be his
identity. After the storm had passed when
Johnsy saw that last leaf still hanging there she
said to herself if that last leaf is not giving up
then why can’t I overcome this sickness.
Although Mr. Behrman lost his life due to
pneumonia which he caught during the rainy
night while painting the last leaf on the tree.
But he made a masterpiece that will never be
forgotten.
Summary:
The Last Leaf is a story with a lot of values and
morals . It is true that a true friend will never
leave you alone in a moment where you
needed help. Johnsy and Sue were friend who
lived together, they both were painters. When
johnsy got sick sue took care of her she made
her her favorite food to cheer her mood up, but
jhonsy did not get any better. Johnsy was
saying that she had been counting the leafs on
the tree outside her window and she said that
when the last leaf falls, she will also die. Sue
told this to Mr. Behrman he lived in the same
building as them. When he came to know that
johnsy was losing hope and counting the leaf of
the tree as her last days of her life .So Mr.
Behrman decides to climb the tree and paint a
realistic there so that johnsy thinks that it is still
there, it was raining so got ill and he died. But
his work, loving and caring will always be
remembered by his masterpiece.

Comparison
The comparison between the video and the pdf
is that in the pdf they talked about. In the video
they showed that people are giving up painting
because it was not paying well, they told no
such thing like this in the pdf. In the pdf they
did not talk more about Mr. Behrman’s crazy
love for painting and in the video, they said that
Mr. Behrman paints everything he sees like
benches of the park, trees , even the stairs of
the building in which he lived. In the pdf they
did not describe the scene where everybody
finds out that Mr. Behrman painted that tree
and after they come to know about it
everybody comes out of their homes and starts
painting.in video johnsy and sue opened an
institution after the name of Mr. Behrman.in
video johnsy wanted to paint London bridge
but in pdf she wanted to paint Bay of Naples.
