The article by Adam Malik published by JPFA-UNESA is good and makes it easy for
readers to understand the contents of this article. Judging from the title that is short, clear and
describes the contents of the article. Then on the abstract, as a whole it is correct, starting from
the way of writing abstracts using the simple past and also the present tense, and it also includes
the main requirements of abstract. However, the abstract of this article does not include the
advantages or benefits of this research. The researchers should have added the advantages of
using smartphones in the Doppler effect practicum after the conclusion.
Furthermore, from an introduction perspective, it includes 3 moves that should be listed
in the introduction. First, at the beginning the introduction has explained the attractiveness of this
study (paragraph 1-4), because the researcher presents the advantages of the smartphone itself in
education. Second, in paragraph 5 the researcher has very much explained and described
previous research on the use of smartphones in education, which is stated in the form of
conclusions from previous studies. Third, the researcher has described the purpose of the
research carried out, the difference from previous research, and also provides an overview of the
research that will be carried out clearly in paragraph 6-8).
Research methodology, describes how the researcher gets the right data and
conclusions. The methodology described by Adam Malik is clear from the start of the research
steps, the results obtained in graphical form and also how to analyze the results obtained.
However, in the part of the steps being carried out, it does not clearly explain the process of each
step, the variables used and the analysis of errors that occur in the experimental process.
The results and discussion explain the answers to the experiments conducted by
researchers. In this study, the results and discussion presented are sequential from specific results
to the general ones which are characterized by linking the results obtained with the theory. In
addition, the author also pays attention to writing using the simple past tense. The results
obtained have been presented based on the objectives to be achieved in graphical form, it can be
seen that the graph shows the actual results with the results of the experiment using a
smartphone. The strength of the researcher in presenting the results and research is showing and
explaining the error value of the research. In the last section, the researcher also explains how the
results of previous relevant research are related to the research results obtained. In my opinion,
the results and discussion presented by the researcher already includes the requirements for
writing good results and discussions
Finally, at the conclusion, the researcher has answered all the objectives of the study from the
results obtained in the experiment. Short, dense and clear.
