LESSON 1: Drawing Conclusions

What I Have Learned

After I read and reviewed this lesson, what I have figured out is how I can draw
conclusions in my study. The very important thing I should remember while doing the conclusion
is that it should be limited within the main objective of the study and research questions
presented at the beginning of the research paper, and presented briefly in a straightforward
manner. The conclusion is the most important part of my research study, because it is usually
where the answers of the study can be seen. As a researcher, I should be precise in doing my
conclusion in that way my readers can fully understand the impact of my research study.
In writing a conclusion, I should make sure to have a brief introductory statement before
summarizing the answer to my research questions. I should remember that the conclusion must
address the answer to the research inquiry. To have an impactful conclusion, I should avoid
merely summarizing, state my conclusion in a clear and simple language, do not just reiterate
the discussion of the results, avoid using numerical figures, or simply repeating the result,
indicate opportunities for future research.
In drawing conclusion, there is an important content called research implication where it
refers to the logical relations and their results in a given situation. There are two forms of
research implication. First is the practical implication that is a more realistic explanation of what
research findings might mean and the fact that it would arise if those circumstances were met.
The second one is the theoretical implication: it is a statement that supports or contradicts a
theory, previous study findings, or creates something entirely new.
I’ve learned those things above and for me it is important for a student like me who's
trying to be a research scientist in the future. It will help me in the ongoing research as well as
the future ahead.

LESSON 1: Formulating Recommendations

What I Have Learned

Aside from the conclusion, I also like doing the recommendation. Not only that the
research is going to end but also to help the readers or other researchers to have an idea for
their research study. In this part of the study, I will give suggestions regarding the best course of
action to take as a result of my summary of findings and conclusion. In this lesson, it helped me
to provide a useful guide to create a recommendation and how I can create a specific action
plan to be addressed.
In this part of study, I want to help the researchers who want to pursue similar studies.
That's why I must recommend them to be reliable and depend on the outcomes of our study.
