Asia Power Group Ltd. (“APG”): a leading company in the generation of electrical power

from the development of lignite coal resources. Asia Power is a UK company whose flagship

project is the development of the Thar Coalfields Blocks 3A & 3B located in the Sindh province

of Pakistan. The Blocks contains over 3.4 Bn tonnes of coal resources, Asia Power Group is

developing a mine mouth power station project with a capacity of some 1320 MW p.a. On

completion, Asia Power Group will own and operate one of the largest coal mining and power

producing complexes in the world.

Mr. Owais Mir founder of Dynamic Engineering & Automation (DEA) Group in the year 2006.

DEA is a leading energy solution and support services company providing Engineering

Services, Energy solutions, Supply Chain Management, and EPC to leading international and

local companies. Prior to establishing DEA Mr. Mir gained rich experience working for SSGCL

as a coordinator in the Managing Director’s office. In the following two years he spent a

significant amount of time working on strategic Oil & Gas projects for SSGCL. Mr. Mir is a

Member of the Pakistan Energy Outlook Committee of PIP and is also a Founding Director of

Shahid Afridi Foundation, SAF being set-up with the aim of improving and enriching the lives of

the underprivileged, to provide better healthcare, education, community & sports development.
