THE FIRST TERM OF ENGLISH

The Kaaba is the holiest site in Islam. It is called the House of Allah, the Kaaba (Masjid
al-Haram) is a cuboid-shaped building. It is located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is the most
sacred and oldest famous cultural and religious monuments in Islam and the world. The
Quran States that the Kaaba was built by Ibrahim, and his son Ismaeel. The Kaaba has a
mosque built around it called the Masjid al-Haram.

The Arabic word Kaaba means square or cube. The Kaaba is made of granite rocks. It is
about 13.1 m high.

Inside the Kaaba, the floor is made of marble and its door is made of gold.
