SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

That I, WILFEDO U. PASCUAL SR.., of legal age, Filipino, with residence at Rebecca,
Gonzaga, Cagayan, do hereby name, constitute and appoint, AILEEN P. CARANTO, also of
legal age, Filipino citizen and residing at Villa, Sta. Teresita, Cagayan to be my true and lawful
attorney-in-fact, for me and in my name, place and stead, to do and perform the special powers,
to wit:

1. To attend the Court-Annexed mediation at the Philippine Mediation Center, Carig Sur
Tuguegarao City, in relaton to a civil case pending at the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of
Gonzaga-Sta. Teresita, and docketed as Civil Case No. 434;

2. To enter into amicable settlement and/or compromise agreement on matters relating ti the
above-mentioned case;

3. To sign and/or receive any document during the mediation proceeding;

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto my said attorney-in-fact, full power and
authority to do and perform any and every act and thing whatsoever requisite, necessary or
proper to be done in and about the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as I might or
could do if personally present and acting in person; and

HEREBY RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING all that my said attorney-in-fact shall lawfully
do and cause to be done under and by virtue of these presents.
