Test Taking Stragtegies
Examine model answer sheets released by the CBSE of the past 6–7 years.

Start all long answers (6–8–10 marks) from a fresh sheet

If three-four lines are left on a page, start the next answer from the following page.
Try and leave at least one line between short answers and two lines between long
answers.
Don't use fancy vocabulary unnecessarily and stick to word limits
For those students who don’t follow any particular order for writing answers in the
exam:-
Follow this order:- Section A-> Section C-> Section B.
WHY? Because in the sections A & C you already know what you have to write &
that way you can finish them quickly. In the end, start with section B. You have to be
very thorough with your answers & do not exceed the word limit. Examiner won’t
check your answer by reading each & every word. Also, use short & simple
sentences.
The structure of all your writing is extremely important since you have limited
words, so quickly jot down the main points you want to cover in the margin (with
pencil) so you don't miss anything and are able to write it well.
Choose amongst the internal choices smartly. Choose those questions which would
take the least time
Did you know?

7 out of 10 students
say that scoring good marks is not difficult in boards, in fact
it’s easier compared to the pre-boards held in schools.
All the best !!!

Thank You
Finally on the exam day leave all your books. Have a good shower
and a heavy breakfast, listen to some songs and reach your exam
centre on time (before 1 hour at least)
