    Modelling of synchronous generator in Steady-State and Dynamic

    Niels Abildgaard, Hans Nielsen.

    The project aims at analysing the behaviour of a synchronous generator with variable
    conditions. The system will be first studied analytically in Steady State. Then, a
    dynamic model will be developed with Simulink. All along the project, experiments
    will be carried out to determine the main generator characteristics (open and short
    circuits) and behaviours. Analytical and experimental results will be compared.
