Two diodes are connected in parallel with current sharing resistances. The (1-V)

characteristics of the diodes are shown in Fig. 1. The total current is 400 A. The voltage
across the diode and its resistance is 3V.

)Determine the value and rating of sharing resistances Ri and Ra if the current is
shared equally by the two diodes.
(i)Determine the value and rating of sharing resistances R1 and R2 if the Diode 1
rating current is 300 A and Diode 2 rating current is 150 A
