The Bracero Program: Popplet Scoring Guide

Criteria Points
Organization and Format of Popplet
 There is one main popplet, six sub-popplets, and at least 14 sub-sub-
popplets.
 Each sub-popplet has at least two sub-sub-popplets: one that includes a
description and the other that includes a corresponding photo. 10
 Sub-popplets and sub-sub-popplets are appropriately color-coded and
connected.

Content of Popplet
 Each sub-popplet description fits the theme and describes any relevant
historical events and/or characteristics of that theme.
 Each sub-popplet description has a minimum of 100 words.
 Each sub-popplet contains a photo that fits with the meaning of the

theme.
 TWO videos (uploaded as sub-sub popplets) are included that are
informative and pertain to the theme they are placed in.

Spelling/Grammar/Mechanics of Popplet:
 All components of the popplet contain correct spelling, grammar and
mechanics. Sub-popplet descriptions are well-written and make sense. 3
Turned in Correctly:
 Site is made public, and the URL is submitted to the correct online
assignment portal submission page.
