Places:
Since UTM has a very photogenic campus with picturesque green spaces we
decided to do our video shoot inside the campus. We had the good fortune to be
able to take some clips in front of the UTM lake, some in the Faculty of Electrical
Engineering (P19), along the roadside leading from P19 to N24 and also in front of
IVAT (Institute of High Voltage and High Current).

Application:
Our primary decision is to use Movavi Video Editor 15 for our video editing. Later
on if our targeted result requires more intricate or complex manipulation then we
have the option of shifting to Filmora or Adobe Premier Pro.

Storyboard:
We came here from different parts of the world with different views, ideologies
and expectations. And every year hundreds of students like us leave their home,
family and friends for a place which they haven’t seen before with a goal to make
become independent and capable members of this competitive world.
UTM is a place of diversity in aspects including ethnicity, nationality, culture and
religion. And for the adventurous and inquisitive like us, UTM beckons with a
welcoming hand to begin the dream chapter of our life. We create here
memories. We discover the world.
This is the place for warriors who are going to rule the world and hopefully create
a better future for the next generation. Our video is just like a UTM Diary. Every
member of our group has shared their first impression after coming to UTM and
also their experience till now. Since all the members of our group are
international students who came to Malaysia as well as UTM for the first time, our
UTM experience is not just limited to our university life. It includes the
adaptation to food, people and culture of Malaysia and the countless other
countries our peers call home.
In our video we highlighted all of these aspects that influenced and enriched our
UTM experiences. The video in a nutshell will describe about funs, emotions,
some memorable scenes also their feelings when they came to UTM at first. In
the video Our members will also describe some of the problems they faced when
they came at UTM.

Role for each Members:

We are group 1 and in our group we have four members – Saumik Dash, Reshad
Rayhan, Sanzida Rahman and Md Ibrahim Chowdhury. Every member of the
group contributed in making the video. Each gave their opinions about deciding
the location and wrote their individual script that they narrated in the video. We
divided our video duration amongst the group members. The members of our
group will describe their experience in UTM in the last 10 months. They will also
describe their thoughts about UTM and some funny experiences they had in the
last few months. All of the members acted in the video and Saumik Das and
Reshad Rayhan will play their role as the cameraman and video editor. Hopefully
this video will succeed in giving a realistic but humorous portrayal of our
experience in UTM.
