A steel tank with capacity of 6 litters was filled with acetone at 0 C o and then both steel tank
and acetone heated at 40 Co. If the coefficient of liner expansion for steel is 1.2 x 10 -5 oC-1
and coefficient of volume expansion for acetone is 1.5 x 10 -3 oC-1, calculate the volume of
spilled acetone. Marks = 10
