STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

How are companies able to venture into international markets? How do organizations whether big
or small plan for their future in the coming years? What are the pivotal factors that help companies
survive in diverse environments? I would like to comprehend these factors in a manner through
which I am able to share this knowledge with other people by pursuing further education in Italy

I am writing to express my interest in pursuing Global Development and Entrepreneurship program

from the highly esteemed Ca’ Fascari University of Venice Business School , Italy My interest in
continuing my post-graduate studies can be best described in the words of Stevie Wonder “We all
have the ability. The difference is how we use it.”

I am Abdul Nasir Khan, a born citizen and resident of DG Khan, Pakistan. I did my Bachelor of
Business Administration from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan in 2016. Also I got professional
experience along with B.A so that I could use it to enhance my knowledge. After some research, I
joined Mobilink, one of the largest cellular networks in my country. I joined one of its outlets in my
native city in Feb 2003 and till June 2006 I worked there as a Sales Officer.

It is not only my job requirement but also my ambition to go abroad to pursue professional degree in
Business and my family has also encouraged my ambition and will support me in every way. So I
have started to explore different options for a professional degree in Business Administration. I
found out that Italy has a very good reputation for higher education and its education system is
focused on research as well. I have particularly chosen Italy over other countries because the quality
of education in Italy is unique for both its structure and rigor. The government of Italy maintains the
quality of education with quality assurance mechanisms for each sector. The introduction of Italian
University Quality Agency by the Italian government depicts that the government is stern towards
the assurance of quality in education and training. The excellence of education in Italy is evident by
the influx of foreign students to your education institutions.

Studying at Italy’s most crowded city will enrich me to experience the dynamic, vibrant and
energetic multicultural Italy, the country recognized among the best for its practical approach
towards education. Studying in will certainly make my experience more delightful because of its
safe environment, harmonious and friendly society.

I chose Ca’ Fascari University of Venice’s GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP course
because it’s a well-reputed and highly ranked business school of Italyand the subject suits my
interests and also fulfils my future job requirements. KBS becomes my highest preference due to
offering advance quality education in business and its disciplines studies. Further after researching

units are really helpful and comprehensive for gaining practical knowledge and advance skills like
business analytics, business communications, measurement and decision making, financial
accounting principles and analysis etc. This GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
education gives me new skills and knowledge to enhance current career. By doing this course, I will
more realize my deficiencies which I will left behind in my previous qualification and will learn how
to deal with the latest issues in more appropriate way and in other words can better handle any
challenging situation through my advance knowledge and skills. This program will give me the
opportunity to constantly challenge and push myself in order to continuously improve.

As Pakistan has potential markets and growing economic structure and it is far easy to do business
here as compared in developed countries. After degree completion I will come to my homeland and
re-join the same college as a permanent teacher to teach students and give them the opportunity to
start their desired businesses in Pakistan. Further, I can also work as a business development
manager, general manager, business analyst, managing head/director, CEO, and also work towards
sales and marketing side. I am hopeful to earn such designation after gaining this degree and my
expected initial salary on such positions would be 120,000-150,000 PKR with many other fringe
benefits Firstly at that time after getting international standard degree I will be able get a better job
either in any educational sector or in the renowned multinational company. Secondly I can do jobs
responsibilities more effectively by getting professional skills.

Pakistan is a developing country with a lot of potential in development sectors. There is a lot of
growth in future which is already well underway. Recently Peoples Republic of China has agreed to
invest US$ 46 Billion to develop Economic Corridor linking Arabian Sea to China. This will include
world’s largest deep sea port and an interprovincial motorway. Hence, I will have the opportunity to
teach many people Business related subjects to enhance their expertise.

I am encouraged to discuss and share my expertise and knowledge with other people who will be my
future students. However, along with sharing knowledge, this GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AND
ENTREPRENEURSHIP degree from Italy will also help boost my understanding of business and its
industry-relevant courses will also build my confidence and further enhance my knowledge.

My Father will be my financial sponsor. I have adequate financial resources and funding to support
my entire study period at Ca’ Fascari University of Venice Business School.My father is a retired
Wapda officer .My father has financially supported me all through my educational . He supported me
earlier for my educational expenses in the UK as well. For studies in Italy, my Father has undertaken
to support me during the full course of my studies. For the purpose of financial support, initially he
has nominated PKR. 15, 00,000 in her bank account for my educational expenses.

Upon the completion of my GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP degree, I intend to

return to Pakistan as soon as possible. I do not intend to overstay or apply protection under no
circumstances. I have strong social ties in Pakistan as my family and siblings are here in Pakistan and
for me, my family is most attractive thing to come back to Pakistan after completion of my course. I
intend to implicate my best efforts from academic learning into professional work to further
enhance my knowledge and play my part in regaining the economic progression of my country. In
this way I will be able to fulfil my aim in the true meaning. After perusal of the above mentioned
facts, laid down in detail, it is anticipated that I shall meet a promising response in shape of an
opportunity to study in Australia.
