The impacts of social Medias on business organizations

Introduction

The development in the technology and communication changed the

overall business style. The social Medias and interactive social websites opened
a new era in business. All the famous business organizations are changed their
business strategies in accordance with the new technologies. Now the people are
aware about the importance of brands, quality of the products etc and are not
ready to sacrifice on quality. The increase in the competition helped the
customers to get good quality products in reasonable rates.
Literature Review:-
The role of social medias in business:-
The study conducted by Evan (2009) states that social Medias are directly
related to people and they will discuss about the topics of mutual interest. All the
people are looking to purchase better quality products. So when the people in
social media discuss about the products and its qualities. This will give awareness
about the quality of the products. So before buying anything a member needs the
reviews about the product which he/she is going to buy.
The importance of social media in business:-.
The research paper submitted by Levinson, & Gibson (2010), states that
social Medias can be the new trend in business. Most of the business
organizations use social Medias for business, due to its wide acceptance and
free publicity of the products. There are many small scale business persons also
can do business freely by using social Medias.
The impact of social media on business culture and leadership:-
Chue, (2011), analyzed the connection between social Medias and
leadership. He found that social Medias developed the leadership skills of
many persons. The media supported the talents and abilities of persons. The
social Medias promoted the business culture in many ways. If a person wants to
start a new business, the social media is ready to support him by providing
enough information’s to that particular business and advertisements. This will
improve his confidence to do the business.

Risks associated with social media while doing a business:-

Soreascu et al. (2012) stated in his studies as “Social Medias will support a
business man to start business very easily but at the same time there are many
fake accounts that starts the same business and makes fraud business. This will
give a bad image on the original business man. Which means that the social
medias websites like Facebook is free and anyone can create fake id for the
original and can cheat others. He also stated that there is a possibility of copying
one’s product and start a new business with any fake id.

Discussion

The application of new technology, social Medias in promoting business

New product lines are to be identified by understanding the requirement of

customers. The need of a pregnant woman, the new born baby packages etc. are
some of the new areas in retail business. The development in the communication
technology and the social Medias changes the view of people. When a lady is
going to pregnant, they will plan the requirements of whole pregnancy period up
to the baby birth. So a business person has to create strategy to provide a package
to such woman to make their planning very easily.
The online social medias has become one of the major profitable business
and most of the national as well as international business organizations opened
online business centers/websites to get more business. The online business needs
a web license with an interactive web site and highly confidential money
transactions. The customers’ needs a pinpointed and regular customer service
and this will increase the business. Nowadays people are checking the customer
service before purchasing a product.
The business organizations have to give offers and discounts to get more

and more business. The development of technology created many new online
Medias to get the details about the price discounts and offers. Target customers:
The impact of social medias and UAE:-
The people in UAE are too much associated with social Medias like
Instagram, Facebook, Snap chat etc. The people especially younger generation
always chats in social Medias. There are many groups created in social website
to share the ideas each other. They discuss the new fashion trends, food items
etc. They also discuss about movies, future ambitions etc. If you are not much
aware on any particular area, if you post the details in Facebook, you will get all
the information’s about that topic in fraction fo seconds.
They use Instagram basically to sale new as well as used items. There are
many business persons in UAE creates their Facebook, Instagram pages and
everyone can see the new trends and arrivals. They can order the products at
the times itself. In this way most of the businesses are done through social
Medias. The fast telecommunication and the introduction of smart phones
supported the people in in UAE to concentrate more in social Medias like
Facebook and Instagram.
Systems thinking in social Medias in an organization:-
The concept of system thinking can be seen in the usage of social Medias.
There are many groups can be created in social medias to interact each other.
Suppose if ten persons work in an organization, the social medias like
Facebook, What Sapp can create a groups of 10 members together and can
share the ideas and other information’s. This process needs only a smart
phone with net connection.
Conclusion:-
I like to summarize as, social Medias has become one of the prominent
media for business and information transfer. A controlled usage of social Medias will help
everyone to get good business. All the business organizations are opened their Facebook
page to update their latest products as prices. But nowadays this gradually changed into
online business.
