ABOUT THE KL CUP

Providing competitive international football in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia since 2016

ORIGINS
Started in 2016, the Kuala Lumpur Cup (KL Cup for
short) is an international youth football tournament
held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Targetted at
competitive junior teams from across the region, the
cup aims to improve the opportunities for high quality
inter-club football in Southeast Asia.

In 2018 the KL Cup saw participation from 98 teams

from 6 countries, with champions including Imran
Soccer Academy Indonesia, NFDP-ATPP, Inspire
BudakBOLA and VIFC.

KL CUP 2019
Open to teams in five age-groups (Under-8, 10,
12, 14, 16), the KL Cup will take place at Ardence
Arena in Setia Alam – a fantastic modern football
facility with on-site changing rooms, cafes,
restaurants, bars and more!

Organised by the team behind the AirAsia KL

Junior League, the tournament promises two
days of exciting football action at one of the
region’s leading football centres.

Top quality floodlit all-weather pitches at
Ardence Arena, Setia Alam

ARDENCE ARENA, SETIA ALAM

Opened in February 2018, Ardence Arena at Eco Ardence in
Setia Alam features 2 full-size artifical turf pitches with floodlights.
With on-site facilities including toilets, changing rooms, cafes,
restaurants, a gym and even a supermarket, the centre caters to
thousands of players each month.

Exciting 7-a-side football for Under-8s, 10s,
12s, 14s and 16s

The Kuala Lumpur Cup will follow a Champions

League style format of group stages followed by
Cup and Plate competitions.

PROPOSED RULES AND GUIDELINES

The 2019 KL Cup will follow the same format as the
2018 tournament.

KL CUP FEES
Tournament fees, including super early bird and
early bird offer rates.

At the Kuala Lumpur Cup, our aim is to offer affordable

competitive football for clubs across Southeast Asia.

RM600 per team
Register before 1 December 2018 and enjoy our
KL Cup Early Bird rate

REGULAR FEES
RM800 per team
Regular tournament fees apply from 2 December
2018 until 15 February 2019

Tournament fee includes registration, admin fees, referees,

first aid and on-site ambulance and one box of water per
team per day.

Custom packages can be created to include meals,

accommodation, canopies, team photography and
videography, and other extra services. See next page

Accommodation
A range of accommodation options are available from hostels to 4
star hotels. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.

Meals
Meals can be arranged for breakfast, lunch and dinner at your
hotel or at the tournament venue. Menus can be customised
depending on your needs.

Canopies
All teams have the option of renting a canopy at the tournament
venue. Rental rates start from RM200 per team for a 9ftx9ft tent.

Photography services
Want to capture the KL Cup for your parents and players? Our
team of photographers and videographers can document every
moment of the tournament.

Friendly matches
Friendly games can be organised before or after the tournament
at a range of venues across the Klang Valley.
