 Subject Matter- Science


 Living Things and their Environment
 Learners are 7th grader ages 12- 13 years old. Most are visual learners
and others are kinaesthetic and auditory learner
 Module is fully online
 Activities:
1. Identify different types of animals from the module and how
they help our nature.
2. Identify different types of plants from the module and how they
help our nature.
3. Adopt a pet or livestock and present it using a video
presentation. State the name of the pet and how it will help you
at home during pandemic.
4. Plant a seed or make an urban garden at home and present it
using a video presentation. State what kind of plant it is and
how it will help you at home during pandemic.
5. Present a video presentation while feeding or grooming your
pet or watering your plant and upload it in social media to
inspire other

___________________________ Objectives_______________________

At the end of each lessons, the students will be able to:

 Appreciate the importance of animals and plants in our earth.


- The students will be encouraged to be actively involved in
environmental preservation and animal welfare advocacies.

 Practice ways of caring for animals and plants


- The students will be inspired to do and make ways to save
our planet earth and that changes will start from them in their
house
 Make a multimedia presentation about their activities.
- The student will be able to use technology and use it as a
platform to encourage other as well by uploading significant
and timely advocacy in their social media account.

______Technology Tools (Synchronous and Asynchronous)________

 Synchronous tool that will be use is via Zoom teleconference. It is a


during class discussion about the topic and presenting visual
demonstration of people doing some vlogs about planting and taking
care of live stocks and pet.
 Asynchronous tool that will be use is via Google classroom. Google
form and Nearpod presentation is posted in Google classroom to
supplement learning and summarized what they learned from the
synchronous discussion
 The students will be given a one week introduction of tools session on
the first day of class in order to familiarize tools that they will use in
class as well as learning how to take videos for their presentation
 Some challenges will encountered for the unaided or unassisted
students with special needs as some parent cannot able to supervise
their kids more often during class at home. To be able to address this
issue, will make sure that the students needed for further learning
according to their assessment will be given extra time or additional time
to be a one- on – one instructed by the teacher.

Differentiated Instruction (At Risk, High Performing, and Special


Needs Students)

 This module is suitable for different learners and different learning


styles as activities are using different skills such as visual, kinaesthetic
and auditory skills
 Students needed for further learning according to their assessment
will be given extra time or additional time to be a one- on – one
instructed by the teacher.
______Community Building (Interaction and Communication)______

 Method of communications for teacher and students will be via Zoom


consultation period as well as posting Reminders in the Google
classroom. Messenger will also be used for easy communication of
students to teachers. For peer communication, teacher will make
private facebook group that they will exclusively post and update
classmates about their activities and lessons.
 Social media tool such as facebook can be used as a tool to upload
their short vlogs and encourage other about environmental
preservation, sustainable development and animal rights advocacy.
 Teacher serves as mediator and always monitor and supervise the
group page in order to avoid any issues of online bullying.
 The module will be facilitated along with synchronous and
asynchronous class

___________________________ Assessment______________________

 Formative and Summative Assessment will be done using Google


form posted in their Google classroom, module and using
performance tasks.

 Assessments in Performance Tasks such as video presentation,


clippings of picture of their work, live presentation. Rubrics will also
be given along with instruction in the Google classroom.

 Assessment score from Google form and Module will be monitored to


measure comprehension about the topic.
