ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

1.0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The purpose of this procedure is to establish an HSE Management Program that


assists ABE in successfully implementing its HSE Management System and
assesses all its safety, health and environmental objectives.

The scope of this procedure covers all activities, products and services associated
with ABE.

2.0 DEFINITIONS AND ABBREVIATIONS:

ABE : Albanna Engineering


HSE MS : Health, Safety & Environmental Management
System
HSEMP : Health, Safety and Environmental Management
Program
MR : Management Representative
PO : Process Owner
CEO : Chief Executive Officer

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:

3.1 The CEO is responsible for implementation of HSE MS within the


company.

3.2.1 HSE Officer is responsible for identifying significant Health, Safety &
Environmental aspects objectives, targets and their management program.

4.0 PROCEDURE

4.1 For all significant aspects having objectives and targets, an Health Safety &
Environmental Management Program will be developed. The HSEMP will

4.1.1 Designate responsible individuals at each relevant function and level


of the organization against each significant aspect, objective and
target.

4.1.2 Establish the specific steps relevant to the objective

4.1.3 Establish the timeframe of executing the HSEMP.

4.1.4 Ensure that resources are available

4.2 Health, Safety & Environmental Management Programs for following


significant aspects are attached as an example

 All significant aspects determined based on legal requirement.


 Hazards & Assessments determined based on the activity.
 Materials identified as significant
 Health Improvements.
 Work environment improvements.
 Enhancement of Performance through proper training.
 Energy usage identified as significant
 Solid and liquid waste identified as significant.
 Conservation of Water used for vehicle washing.
 Control of emission during blasting & painting activity.

4.3 The programs will be amended as necessary to ensure that they apply to
new developments and new or modified activities, products and services.

4.4 Regular review will ensure that the programs are dynamic and that they
continue to reflect objectives and targets.
