Transculturation and Culture shock

KEYWORDS:

The culture.
INTRODUCTION

Today, the world is fast becoming a global village, with many countries enjoying a
multicultural environment. Understanding different cultures is not only critical, but it
also promotes ample coexistence. As we learn about diverse cultures, it is worth
noting that all of us are individuals. Rather than generalizing, we should treat each
other as individuals. This will go a long way in creating a better environment where
we can all grow up.
THE DIFFERENT CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERCULTURALISM.

A society is intercultural when there are equal exchanges and communication

relationships between cultural groups that are different based on criteria such
as ethnicity, religion, language or nationality, among others.

There are some characteristic of interculturalims;

 Have reciprocal relationships between different cultures

 People can interact and share, regardless of their culture.
 They respect, and learning from one another
 They are focus in what they are, their felling and in what they can offer.
More than which culture they belongs

TRANSCULTURATION AND CULTURE SHOCK

Transculturation is when you want to meet a new culture, and you investigate and
looking for more information about it, is when you want to change from culture, you
know a litter of how this new culture is, you are trying to transport the one culture
for another. And culture shock is when you didn’t know nothing about this culture,
is when it is very different from the one that you are now, for example they can
have a different languages or a different music or dance. With this one is more
difficult the adapt.
CONCLUSION

Communication is the key to life. We have been told that many times. Meet
someone is something very important for most of we. Life is too short, so meet all
the people you can meet, make the effort to go out and laugh. Most importantly, be
yourself. Those who are meant to be in your life will make the time and effort to be
in it.
