Long story

The true monster

Chapter I

Be quite

Once upon a time, in a far away and simple town, were being different was not forgiven,
there was a boy who loved nature and cared for animals, and defended life of all kind. He
wanted to work in a farm and grow plants, like his mother.

But his future was written since his birth. He was going to be a fisher, as his father before
him ans all the men on his family. Groing up, there were always tales of sea monsters that
the men in his family told to have fight against and killed.

The boy thought that one day he would have to grow and fight at sea, to be able to fish and
support his family. He didn't want to fight, let alone, kill another living being, as he thought
as well, those living beings, could have a mother, a father, babies of it's own. He thought:
"We humans are coming to their home, to catch what could also be their food, and on top of
that; we kill them", this things made him suffer.

He once tried to express this feelings, and his father was very disappointed and infuriated.
He didn't give the boy the chance to explain fully what he meant, instead his father felt he
was being called a heartless monster, a cold-blooded killer by his own son. So the boy
became a person insecure about his beliefs and didn't talk much, avoiding expressing
himself.

Chapter II

From boy to man

Time passed, the boy grew, always keeping his feelings and thought to himself, not wanting
to hurt his father's feelings and pride. Not wanting to endure the same fate as other people
who defended ideas different than the other towns people; which was loneliness, to name
the thing the boy was the more afraid off.

He has seen his mother suffer of not having friends, because she was different. She was
the one who teached him that you must understand what is different to you, care for others
and protect the weak.

The boy now is a young man. The young man has reached the age to leave home and go to
the sea, to fish, to bring food to the table, to bring resources to his town. Also to create an
image of a strong responsable and capable young man that can provide and be a young
lady's husband and father of the next generation of fishermen of his bloodline.

Time passed, and the young man went to the sea with his father, all went well usually...
Except for the stormy days, those always brought "monsters" to the surface...

Struggling with the high waves and the fishing nets they unintentionally got caught
sometimes, when chasing fishes under the water. The monster also struggled with the very
fear they had for humans, which made them more "agressive" or well, more desperate to
scape, if you see things for what they really are...

He, the young man, whenever he could, he cut the net or tried to create a distraction and
helped them scape. He always got that looked like saying "thank you", from the so called
"monsters", and he felt that they weren't so different on the inside.

Chapter III

That day

Today, it feels like a good day, it's bright and sunny, not a sign of a storm cloud. The young
man would not have to play hero today ( he was relieved because, if caught helping, he
would have to face his father disappointed and reject, as he once felt when he was a boy).
But you can always hope for surprises.

Being in high sea, a strange wind started to blow, rising waves taller than his ship, his father
lost control of the ship, and felt to the sea. Under the water, a merman ( a male mermaid)
was swimming by, when he saw and recognized the man fighting to go back to the ship. He
saw the monster that had killed many of his kind, full of rage, his blue blood rising and
making him mad, he started to move towards his enemy's direction.

He headed towards the man, with clear intentions to kill him in revenge, the young man,
observing this scenario, didn't hesitate for a second and jumped to the water, grabed his
father, and cried for mercy. The merman stopped the trident he was so determined to drive
thru the monster that had killed his friends and relatives, as he acknowledged the young
man and his secret efforts to save all creatures caught by his father.

The father of the young man, was astonished, the monster had called him, "monster". More
importantly, he could be dead by now, but wasn't. So confused. His life has been spared,
thanks of the past secret actions of his son, actions that in other circumstances, he would
have considered a betrayal.

Chapter IV

The true monster

The father acknowledged "humanity" in the "monsters " and monstrosity in the humans.
Understanding that what he and his his forefathers considered an abomination was only
"different" a different form of life, and this is not necessarily bad.

He offered as a way to try to redeem his family and himself, to help with food and resources
for the families of those beings who's lives they had taken.
He cried heartfelt, he apologized and lived only to preach acceptance of all lives and
remembered when his son, being only a little boy tried to teach him respect for live. A boy
from a simple town, a boy that loved nature and care for animals and defended life of all
kind and now had united two worlds with his kindness.

Short tale

Rain Godess

Yui, the youngest daughter of 12 minor Gods and the only one who was yet to receive a Life
Task; the purpose of her life, the way she should serve the world.

She imagined receiving the power of the sea, to rule beyond the known limits of the deepest
parts of the ocean, or the power of fire, to rule and punish over the earth. Maybe, just
maybe, she would be granted control over the most ferocious beasts. All this she dreamed,
to get power, position and feeling important.

Her day came, taken by hand by her mother, she is taken to her father. Who would give her
her Life Task... Being the Godess of the rain...

How disappointed, how sad and humiliated she felt, she was for life in charge of making it
rain over the earth! Wasn't what she expected, even being so young and the only girl of all
12 minor Gods, she had always proven to be worthy of important responsibilities and trust.

She refused to complete this dull task, for the first time.

Her father, the Highest God of elements, came to her chambers, and took her for a walk on
the clouds, so she could look down to the forests, to the farms, to the villages and see the
effects of her lack of commitment. The land was dry, trees died, people had started a war
over warter in only a month without rain.

Yui understood that she actually had received a great Life Task, to keep balance between
the periods of rain. She was actually given the power of life, as water supports life. She
started her task and ended the war.

Yui is still fulfilling her Life Task gladly and responsably.

The Dark Tower people found this relationship between the Dragons and the DragonTown's

past fear and prejudice and some lowered their weapons and helped the egg to be safe .

It is known that if an egg breaks from the outside is means death, if it breaks from the inside,
