 Local history is the study of history in a local context, often


concentrating on events that affected to local community people
or places of particular village or town. These events could be
anything from movements wars, births or deaths.

 The Ibalong Festival is a non- religious festival in Legaspi City, Albay, the Philippines
based on the Ibalong Epic.

legendary heroes, Blog, Handyong, and Bentong. People parade in the street
wearing masks and customs to imitate the appearance of the heroes and the
villains, portraying the classic battles that made their way into the history of Bicol.
The Ibalong Festival aims to express warmth and goodwill to all people.
