INSTRUCTION FOR EXAM CANDIDATES

Dear Students,

Please read carefully the examination instructions stipulated below.

1. BEFORE BEGINNING THE EXAMINATION:

Please ensure the followings:

a. You are at a location with good internet connection.

b. Your computer / laptop / handphone / tablet is ready to be used for the examination.
(Can access eKLAS).
c. The environment you are in is conducive throughout the whole examination period.
(There should be no disturbance).
d. You shall NOT have with you any unauthorized materials and shall NOT receive any
help from anyone.
e. You have already activated your account status. (Those with outstanding fees
SHALL NOT be able to view the examination question paper).
f. You must log-in at Virtual Exam Room WhatsApp’s link invited by subject lecturer
1 hour before the commencement of examination. For example :VR_UCS1163
g. Follow instruction made by invigilator / subject lecturer in Virtual Exam Room
WhatsApp group. Please use your actual name at WhatsApp status number.
h. Check your assessment / examination information at the “Exam Session” tab.
i. This is a BLENDED ASSESSMENTS – FINAL SEMESTER EXAMINATION for
SEPTEMBER 2020 Session.
j. The examination will be conducted on BLENDED MODE OF ASSESSMENTS as
follows:

2. ACCESSING THE EXAMINATION:

2.1 ASSESSMENT TYPE 1

2.1.1 Part A – MCQ (45 MINUTES)
a. The examination platform for this component is BEZ@eKlas.
b. You can access the examination system ONLY ONCE. The examination
must be completed in one sitting.
c. Click SUBJECT CODE at the “Exam Session” to access to the exam.

d. The duration of the examination will strictly follow the time specified in the
timetable.
e. EXTRA TIME will NOT be granted under any circumstances.
f. Read the instruction and answer ALL the questions.
g. When answering the questions, you can back forward.
h. Save your answer by clicking the ‘Save’ button at the end of every question
attempted.
i. Proceed answering Part B questions.

2.1.2 PART B – ESSAY (2 HOURS 15 MINUTES)

a. The examination platform for ALL essays is BEZ@eKlas.

b. You can access the examination system ONLY ONCE. The examination
must be completed in one sitting.
c. Click SUBJECT CODE at the “Exam Session” to access to the exam.
d. The duration of the examination will strictly follow the time specified in the
timetable.
e. EXTRA TIME will NOT be granted under any circumstances.
f. Read the instruction and answer the questions.
g. You can either answer directly in BEZ system OR on your own paper.
(i) If you answer in the BEZ system:
- Save your answer by clicking the ‘save’ button periodically during
the exam.

(ii) If answer using your own paper:

- You MUST write ALL the information below at the TOP right-hand
corner of the paper on every page:

- Upload your answer script / sheets using the attachment button

h. The end of the EXAM SESSION is when the 3 hours times provided is up.
