STRENGTHS
1. Strong brand name in the food storage solutions market – Tupperware has been able to go
worldwide in food storage solutions industry with it provides variety type of products line.
Tupperware has a strong brand engagement and is the most popular brand in the industry.
2. Large number of outlets – Tupperware has a large number of outlets in almost every state
such as United States, Asia and Europe.
3. Strong presence on social medias – Tupperware has a strong presence on social medias in
which it has more than millions of followers that follows its current news and development.
Tupperware is active on social medias like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in order to build
high levels of customer engagement through these platforms.
4. Diverse product portfolio decreases company risks – Tupperware has 7 different brands
under its portfolio which are Avroy Smith, BeautiControl, Fuller Cosmetics, NaturCare,
Nutiments, Nuvo and Tupperware itself. Other brands are cosmetics brands while
Tupperware being in the food solutions industry.

WEAKNESSES
1. Diversification in workforce – The workforce at Tupperware is more focused on local
workers and has low amounts of workers from other racial backgrounds. Lack of
diversification lead to the difficulties of the employees from different racial background to
adapt in the workplace.
2. Expensive products - Tupperware offers quality and credibility of a brand but at the same
time its products are quite expensive. In this situation, Tupperware’s rivals will eager to take
advantage on it by offering lower priced low-quality products to the customers.

OPPORTUNITIES
1. E-commerce – It is good for Tupperware to register its brand in e-commerce. It is because
nowadays, many businesses use this platform to increases sales. By opening online stores,
Tupperware can make more sales and earn revenues through this.
2. New product launches – Tupperware will be able to attract more customers and increases
sales by launching new products. The company also can produce more products that related
to home equipment to gain awareness from its customers.
3. Technological development – Nowadays, technology is growing rapidly. By increasing in
technology on operation, Tupperware will be able to reduce costs. Besides, technology
development helps Tupperware to be closed with its customer in which it can collect data
regarding the customer satisfactions and in return, improves its products and services.
THREATS
1. Consumer's keep changing - Consumer tastes continue to change, and this puts little
pressure on Tupperware companies to continue to innovate and change the diversity of their
products to meet the needs and wants of these customers.
2. Rising price of Raw Material - The rising price of raw materials for processing Tupperware
products will pose a threat to the company because this will increase the processing cost for a
Tupperware product.
3. Increasing number in competitors - In the food storage category, Tupperware competes
with various local company across all markets. The local products offer lower priced products
and also gain local popularity.
