Fear of the Lord:
Fear of the Lord causes believers to place their faith and trust in Him alone. It allows us to imitate Jesus’ ways here on
Earth and become aware that God is watching our every move. We must acknowledge that God wouldn’t be happy if we did bad
deeds in whatever form. Thus, fearing the Lord lets us reevaluate our actions and do our best in choosing decisions that are rooted
from genuine love and good intentions.
Putting God First
Putting God first starts with loving yourself. You cannot become God’s servant when one’s heart is filled with
negativity. Thus, allowing ourselves to accept what we are and what we have, makes us appreciate God’s gifts for us; therefore, we
let God’s love steer our hearts in our lives during its highs and lows. In everything that we do, we seek for His warmth, ask for his
forgiveness, and/or give Him our gratitude for all the things that have come to us in all parts of the day.
