OBJECTIVE:
US citizen seeking a well-regarded engineering internship program for summer 2021 to further develop professionally
and receive valuable work experience.

EDUCATION:
University of Colorado Boulder Anticipated graduation May 2023
Aerospace Engineering Major - Minoring in Space, and Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences
Current curriculum: Gateway to Space, Intro to Thermodynamics and Aerodynamics, Intro to Statics, Structures,
and Materials, Experimental and Computational Methods in Aerospace Engineering, and Atmospheric Physics.
Member of Society of Women Engineers, Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Women’s Club Travel
Volleyball, and Surf Club.

PROJECTS:
 Wind Turbine: Manufactured wind turbine to produce the highest voltage using only recyclable materials.
Tied for first place.
 Remote Car: Built a car using 3D printer, designated parts, and laser-cut mechanism, powered by Arduino
code, in order to meet specific designated stopping distance and deliver payload within designated time.
 Rube Goldberg and Pythagorean Theorem Demonstration: Created and built two client-based projects
for the CU Science Discovery Center: 1) interactive display to demonstrate Pythagorean Theorem using
Plexiglas and sand, and 2) Rube Goldberg design utilizing magnetic and plastic materials.
 Balloon Satellite: Designed, manufactured, and tested sustainable box suspended by high-altitude helium-
filled balloon to capture photographs and data measurements on atmospheric muon count, humidity,
temperature, pressure, and acceleration. Required five presentations.
 Atmospheric Satellites Modeling: Designed and modeled high-altitude balloon to remain at specific
altitude of 25 kilometers +/- 1 km for a 24 hour period and accounted for solar radiation effects on day and
night altitude.
 Airfoil and Wind Tunnel Calibration: Currently modeling wind tunnel testing and 2D flow around
airfoils to observe development of viscous boundary layers in test section and find the impact on airspeed.
 Bottle Rocket Modeling: Currently using MATLAB to code program to model trajectory of bottle rocket
launch using numerical integration of system of ordinary differential equations. Once finished, will
manufacture bottle rocket and compare the modeled and actual launches.
